I remember going here when I worked at Greenhouse downtown right out of high school. That was around 2013. I would run here everyday just to grab a burrito for $5. Fast forward over a decade and I’m still coming here every week. The food is incredible, the value is still there. And the people are always nice. This is one of those businesses that really deserves the attention that it gets. The photo attached to this review is three Tacos el Tule to go, I’ve already eaten two and I’m not going to lie. These three are pretty daunting. The whole order is only $18 for five.

The carne asada burrito was delicious. Also enjoyed the fish burrito. Service was fast and friendly. We enjoy food trucks all the time. This one stands out. The value is also amazing.

Taco El Tule is the best place to get a veggie or tule burrito! Their new location on meridian even has a Family Meal Deal for 4. The owner, Joey, is super friendly and they’re a yummy quick bite for any day of the week. Can’t recommend them enough.

So far, the best Mexican food restaurant I’ve been to in Bellingham, and I’ve tried them all. Good food with FLAVOR, great service. I give atmosphere 4 stars because it is clean but I will also say that they have been there since 1989 so it does need a little makeover. However, that is not enough to keep from me from going back. It is now my go to for authentic Mexican food.
