Ok, I just tried to call and no answer. My husband ordered the fresh portable that’s not on the menu anymore. She asked what cheese and he told her. Asked for the bread toasted. We’ll, gave me a huge hint of the wrong cheese that was I obviously fried until it become freaking rubber! And the avocado ( the little bit there was ) was smashed flag. Maybe because the bread was smashed so thin it wouldn’t even hold the insides. Absolutely disgusting ! You need to fire the guy making them. My husband said while he was waiting someone had to return their food. Gross!

My husband called to order a cake for my sons birthday. We didn’t leave a deposit because we live 45 minutes away, the lady just called to verify if we still wanted the cake the day before pick up. Glad I didn’t have to drive to leave deposit. The young ladies were courteous and polite to me when I arrived. My son loved his cake. There’s a bakery in my town, but they said they were out of supplies because of the quarantine. Glad this bakery pulled through for us, all my son requested was his cake de tres leches. We were satisfied so I am giving 5 stars.

I’m giving it 1 star because I always run into an issue and I call the main location and nothing is done about it. I went to pick up a cake for my brothers graduation and the lady straight up refused to hand me the cake nor check that my order was there. She didn’t even budge from the counter and told me 3 times that my order wasn’t there and that I might be at the wrong place. Even after showing her the receipt, she just played it off as if I was wrong and told me that their was an order but she was given the wrong name. Then proceeds to tell me that instead of it saying congrats on your graduation it says happy birthday. Not only that but goes ahead and puts two people in front of me without asking… upon ringing my order up she tells me a higher price than what I had to pay and wants to argue that they are never wrong: which obviously they are and not once did she offer me an apology. I’m seriously just taking my money elsewhere where I can be treated fairly and not just as an atm machine. To top it off, parking is a nightmare specially on the weekends. This store needs to do bette root just by the employees but by the owners as well.

I always look forward to go on the one on Whitehorse Rd but yesterday it took a shocker out of me on d food. In the back of the store I ask for few meat items, I went to work & shared my food..I wasn’t thanked at the end because the food was stale & dehydrated! I thought I would salvage it with water but the toughness was still there! Waste of my $! I will continue to go there, but I’m not gng buy the food from the meat department ever again.

The tres leches cake was moist, fluffy and not overly sweet. Chocolate flan was very deep in chocolate flavor and flan was great too.

Love this Panaderia! They have a torta (sandwich) called the Chiroqueso. I get the pickled jalepenos on it. Every time I go, the torta tastes the same.I find the employees friendly and patient with someone who is trying to cryptically order in Spanish. There are too many pastries to name! Wonderful selection. In addition, I simply have a love for places that are not part of a food franchise. I appreciate the feel, the service I get, and a “different” menu. La Unica does not disappoint on all the above.
