Sorry I dont remember the name.
Taste is affordable but the price is not.
Just get cheaper one without beef balls. These beef balls are not great quality.
If you get cheaper one, affordable price.
They only sell one size (regular) but if you ask to server, extra noodle for you without extra charge.
You can choose between water and tea. They dont charge you for the tea.
Overall, not a bad place to have a pho.

Delicious, massive portions, & good service. The Beef Sate is a 10/10 — the flavour is perfect and the meat is super tender. I’ve travelled throughout Vietnam and the food here is just as good, if not better. My only wish is that they would have pickled garlic.

So nice to have a warm pho on a cold winter day! We had their special with rib, brisket, rare beef, and beef balls. It had lots of juicy meat and broth was full of flavour with aroma.
I also appreciate they are open on Sundays as many eateries in the area are not.

Absolutely amazing food. Good portions and very friendly staff. We will definitely come back again every time we come through.
Definitely give them a try! A much healthier option than fast food for the same price. Picking up to take on the ferry is great to have rather than eating the junk that’s on the ferry.
And if you don’t want to wait for a few minutes, phone in and order prior to leaving your house before hitting the ferry.

I am not a big fan of soups, but I heard about this place and gave it a chance anyway. I had the house special pho with raw beef, beef brisket and beef balls. The kind lady who served us explained to me how to mix a fantastic sauce to dip the beef in with the ingredients brought to our table. A mix of hot sauce, hoisin sauce, chili oil, and freshly squeezed lime added a whole new level of flavors to this already fantastic meal. I am a good eater and I was worried I wouldn’t be full. In reality, I was actually shocked as to how much beef was in this bowl for the price! $23.95 may sound like a lot for a soup, but what you get is much more than that! Awesome service, plenty of good quality ingredients, unique flavour and a cozy environment turn this meal into a fantastic value for the money! I cannot wait to try other items on the menu, there are so many intriguing meals on it that I never even heard of before!
(On a side note, I rarely ever have seen such a well made, clean, colorful and inviting menu, well done!)
Update: I just would like to confirm that my previous positive experience was not just a one off. Today was the third time I left this restaurant with a full belly and a smile after I had the opportunity to try the monthly buffet for the first time. I am blown away by how many different variations of proteins like beef, pork, chicken, eggs and shrimp are available! Too many to try them all in one visit! Most buffets try to fill you with cheap greasy carbs and low quality deep fried food which leaves you with an upset stomach and a guilty feeling. Not this place! The quality of each dish I tried was outstanding! Also, I love that their buffet offers more than just the typical, westernized staples of vietnamese food. There is something unique to discover for the brave who want to go beyond the spring rolls and fried rice! Thank you to the kind owner and the team of Old Man Pho for providing this town with such a warm atmosphere and phenomenal flavors, you guys made my weekend!

We had an extraordinary meal at Old Man Pho with our family. They were so wonderful with our toddler and they entertained my silly father. The food was absolutely on point. Cool drink options. Delicious food. We are lucky to have this gem south of town.

If you look at my profile you will notice I had one favourite thing that I MUST try anywhere I go… pho. Well I was so happy to find that Old Man Pho has opened up near Powell River! When we drove by we knew we must stop in. For it being in an “out of the way” location, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. It was a good attempt for perhaps having supply issues (the pho house special had brisket, rare beef and beef balls).
Ask for the chili oil and sate sauces! Comes with and adds great flavour!
Service was a bit slow but was there during the dinner rush. Would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in this neck of the woods
