I got chicken and shrimp tacos and they were delicious and authentic! Not sure if I was talking to the owner but he was also super kind and thoughtful. Even if Google says it’s closed, he might be open depending on how busy it is, so it’s worth a shot to check and see 🙂 the food truck park is also really cute and has good dessert options!

Fresh, delicious tacos, plates, and more (we got the shrimp tacos and plate and they were so good, we went back for seconds), and I’m from San Diego! Everything from the homemade salsas to tortillas are flavorful and perfectly executed! Fun ambiance at the food truck park, and super friendly service! Highly recommend!

The food here is authentic. I’ve been to many restaurants near National Parks and this food truck is my current favorite place. We’ve gone all over Utah and Taqueria el Gordo is top recommendation. If you want amazing mexican food do not pass on this place! It’s the real deal.

Passing through from the UK, needed something to keep us going between hikes of the canyons. The food was incredible and area really clean and tidy. I had 2 spicy pork, 1 chicken and 1 beef taco, all tasted different in a really good way, 4 was plenty but could eat 40 they were so good.
Started eating but realised needed a pic as felt I had to leave a review.. get yourself some tacos!!
Really friendly service and recommended some great choices.

Bomb, legit tacos from this little food truck. Loved the Al Pastor(aka spicy pork) and Carne Asada tacos. The shrimp ones were pretty good too but just not as great as the steak and pork ones. Their spicy salsa packs some serious heat, too. Service is solid, fast and well organized. Plenty of seating in the park bench style seating areas in the center quad surrounded by the food trucks.

Tacos were flavorful and delicious. We loved the pork belly and fish tacos the most. Beans and rice were a bit underwhelming, not very much flavor. Guac had lots of lime and spice, the way I like it. Husband thought the margarita was a bit sweet but it’s definitely a great value. Would come back for the pork belly alone!

Cool food truck at the “food truck food court” in Moab; nice set up in general.
Tacos were $3 each and really good; ended up going back for a second “slow cooked beef” taco. Staff were friendly

A great taco truck in a little outdoor square of food trucks! The staff were so sweet and let me practice my Spanish with them. I got three tacos and a Jarritos. The adobada, asada, and carnita tacos delicious!! I had never had adobada before, but it was muy rica! The house made guac was also so good. There isn’t a dry meat in this restaurant, everything was so juicy.

We are visiting Moab for a few days and wanted a nice place for lunch; the Moab good park is amazing, and Tacos El Gordo had exactly what I was craving: delicious authentic street tacos.
I got 3 asada tacos and a soda for $12, the staff was nice. The service was quick, and the atmosphere at the food truck park is super relaxed.
