We ordered to go, burrito was fine however, our chicken enchiladas order had not only BONES in the chicken but a FEW end of the bone (large nerves).
Very dangerous to have this in a chicken order where you don’t expect this chicken breast enchilada order.
We will not return to eat or order at this place, even recommend this place since this was not a pleasant delicious dinner experience!

I have been going to Tio Chilo’s for the last three years and I have to say they never disappoint! The food, drinks, ambiance and service is always top notch and on point!
This little family owned restaurant is a gem therefore if you’re in the Mission District area in San Francisco you must visit this spot! Make sure to ask for Liz, the owner so she can make you her famous margarita flights!

I had the Lamb Shank, served with refried beans and rice with plenty of tortillas. The Quesabirria was cheese and served with broth that needed to be a bit hotter. Both were flavorful and served on time. The place is very clean and the bathroom is spotless. Great attentive service all around.

Me and my family decided to try this place out after seeing an instagram post reviewing it, and to say that everything was on point would be an understatement. Not only was the food good, but one of the staff had seen us struggling with our toddler and handed over toys to distract her giving us the opportunity to eat in peace. Would i recommend this place? Definitely, great food and amazing service.
