I travel through Tehachapi often but this is the 1st time I’ve stopped here. We had an amazing experience at this Taco Bell. Beth was so friendly and very pleasant upon us entering the restaurant. She greeted everyone that walked through the door. It was slightly busy but she was still very polite and friendly. I spoke to the manager and gave kudos to Robert because this is the first Taco Bell that honored my request as a customer the way I like my nachos is everything on the side and only nacho cheese on the chips. I hate soggy nachos. Overall, it’s this kind of customer service that keeps customers coming back! Thank you Taco Bell Tehachapi!

The customer service at this location has always been poor but now with the kiosk in the dinning room it is ridiculous trying to get help with adjusting items the way I want them. All items were very under proportion with protein or cheese. My Chalupas were light on the meat and the nachos had 50% of the chips without cheese. Absolutely unacceptable and does not meet the Yum Corporation standards.

Went inside to order but could not get help at the counter. I was told to use the kiosk.can we not get humans to ask questions anymore ? I needed to pay cash for my drink and no one would come to collect my cash so I was not able to get my drink. Very rude staff on night staff.wont come here again. Two thumbs down.

Consistently Inaccurate Orders

I’ve given this location so many chances, and every time I do I regret it. Nearly every single visit, something is missing from my order. It’s not just the occasional mistake here or there—it’s a pattern. My most recent visit should have been simple: four items. That’s it. And yet, 25% of my entire order was missing. It’s not rocket science. It’s basic math: if I order four items, I should receive four items.

What makes it worse is that I live several miles away, so every time I have to drive back to get what they forgot, it costs me more in fuel than the food is worth. The constant mistakes are simply unacceptable.

And to make matters more frustrating, Taco Bell seals everything shut with “tamper-evident” stickers—boxes, bags, drinks. While I understand why they do it, the stickers make it a pain to check your order at the window. You’re left to either rip everything open right then and there and hold up the line, or take your chances and hope they got it right (spoiler alert: they almost never do).

My advice for anyone going through the drive-thru: check your order before you leave. Every. Time. Yes, even if it means ripping open every bag and box at the window and holding up the drive-thru line, because otherwise, odds are high you’ll be missing something.

I honestly hate having to write reviews like this, but after so many mistakes, I feel like people deserve a fair warning.

Pulled up to the speaker sat there with no greeting for awhile. Finally someone’s answered and asked us to give them a moment. They finally told us to order and when we started to order we were asked to hold on again. Finally they took our order got to the window cashed out. Sat for a little bit the gentlemen who handed us our food seemed like he was messing around with other coworkers. I get trying to have fun keeping the night going but they forgot one of our burritos. It’s a shame cause this placed used to be good. The chicken was like eating beef jerky it had been sitting for so long. Just a same

I really dislike the kiosk and lack of customer service. The food is fine but if I need something I stand at the counter for several minutes before an employee makes eye contact and comes to help.

Whoever is working tonight 03/29/2025 around 11:20pm needs to upgrade her costumer service and her attitude
She was trying to rush us while ordering and she get the whole order wrong

Ordered my food in the Taco Bell app. The app said 18$, but when I went to pay suddenly it was 32$.
I went inside and asked for a manager’s help.
He told me I ordered right, that the app is working correctly, and that because they are not a “corporate pricing” Taco Bell, they don’t honor app pricing. He offered me a “senior discount” of 10%off the $32. I left.

I won’t buy from somewhere with bait-and-switch pricing.
