I lived in Korea for nearly four years and this place was very disappointing. The rice wasn’t sticky, just very dry so it was likely cooked earlier in the day and just used multiple times without quality assurance. Fairly sure these are frozen veggie sides. The yaki mandu was pre-made and just like any other Korean place that doesn’t care. Last thing, the L.A. Galbi is some of the chewiest meat I’ve ever had. I don’t know if a Korean runs this, but if they are they should be ashamed of doing the food like this. If you aren’t Korean, you need to learn how to cook this properly and not cut corners. No idea how we have almost 5 stars. The other Korean restaurant in town is wayyyy more authentic from my experience.

For the record my wife also ordered food. She got Bulgogi and it was the same story. The cheapest meat was used. Don’t cut corners when making these types of cuisines, because it stands out.

P.S. We have cattle on our land and we butcher bulls and THAT meat is more tender than this. Change your meat supplier and spend a little extra to ensure that it’s good. It will earn you more money and encourage your business to grow. If you cut corners then I don’t think you’ll ever get the results that you want. 55 dollars for these two small/underwhelming meals is criminal and should be called out.

Edit: For the honest and thoughtful response I will absolutely change my review. We will come visit again and give it another shot. Upgrading to two stars for now so it doesn’t nuke your business, especially because you seem very understanding of my blunt comment. I appreciate it and the effort you’re making.

Place was great. All of the food we ordered tasted good and were big and enough for multiple people. The only downside was they didn’t have all the flavors of dessert and that’s the reason for the 4 instead of 5.

The tteobokki ramyeon from here tastes just like the noodles I had in Korea. The boba was perfect too. I’m happy to see a place in Texarkana serving Korean food. As far as I’m aware, they’re the old place in town that makes gimbap, a Korean staple food. Been here twice and I’m a fan

The curry chicken looked fantastic. My kiddos loved the corndogs, and I had a bacon egg and cheese on garlic bread. 10/10.

I loved that they had table games for kids and adults for anyone to play while you wait for your food.

It was a bit pricey, in my opinion, but definitely worth the experience. Will be going back.

P.s. The Boba was great!
