I was really excited to try this place after my favorite local croissant stop closed down. I have to say I was not impressed, and the best thing I got was their cookies. They were chewy, yet cakey, and full of chocolate chips. They are absolutely perfect. I shared with a few friends and they all felt that everything was okay. The place is cute but I feel that the price is a bit steep for how much you get. Overall it was not bad, but not something I would seek out again.

This bakery is amazing and we are so fortunate to have it in Abilene! It is always clean and the staff always friendly. The owners are such hard workers and it is a family run business. The master baker, Chelsie, is so accomplished and her baked items look (and taste) like something you’d see in a European cafe/bakery or on the Food Network. Everything I’ve ever tasted has been delicious. But the almond croissant is always my go to! My husband loves their coconut cream pies. My daughter, their strawberry cinnamon rolls. Even their gluten free stuff tastes amazing!!

This is your place. Looking for sourdough that has actual flavor? This is it. Want a melt-in-your-mouth almond croissant? You got it. After living overseas and in big cities and being spoiled with access to world-class bakeries, I’m so glad these amazing folks have opened up right here in town! I’ve been coming here a few times a month since they opened; for small business meetings, quick lunches, breakfast dates, coffee dates, and just to pick up loaves of bread to take home. The staff behind the counter are wonderful and always friendly, and the bakers seem to have fun experimenting and giving us new culinary pastry experiences each time we go in. We’re lucky to have y’all here! Keep up the amazing work!

We were headed out of town back home to San Antonio and decided to have a quick breakfast here. The food and the pastries are absolutely out of this world, absolutely delicious…!!! And the variety is fantastic. Skip Starbucks and come here you will not be disappointed..!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My favorite bakery! As someone who grew up in Fredericksburg, I have pretty high standards on a good bakery. Salty Roan meets that! Their pastries are truly flaky and flavorful, like the European way. I love that they always have unique and different items every time I stop in. It’s extremely clean and the staff is so friendly.

We came here for a tour of the bakery with our homeschool group. The owner is so genuine and you can tell she puts a lot of love into this place. All of the staff had a smile on their face and looked very happy to be there. It was so cool to see behind the scenes and learn about all that goes into making so many delicious things! I LOVED the savory pastries and was happy to see that they had many gluten free options to take home for my husband. It’s a very welcoming and cozy place and we will definitely be back!
