I’ve eaten here three times. We have enjoyed the salad bar, the hush puppies are awesome, honey hot boneless wings are excellent, had the thin crust pizza, a hamburger steak, and they were all good to great. The wait staff is a bit slowish but the atmosphere is great, right on the creek in the peace and quiet. Slow down and enjoy each other’s company.

I can say they are trying but if you’re picky or hard to please or are in a hurry, this isn’t your place. We learned they were short staffed, which is not an uncommon occurrence in the area. We went for their Seafood Saturday. I feel like they probably need to move that to a different night of the week. With the lodge and overnight guests needing a place to eat, and others that are coming specifically for seafood, it’s just too much for their current staff. I happened to get a bad set of crab legs, which is no reflection on the restaurant, but it took almost 2 full hours to get our food so everyone shared one leg each with me and all theirs were fine. It was all a little overcooked but it had good flavor. We all 4 had the seafood boil. The appetizers came out timely and were as expected. The price was in line with what I’d expect for a seafood boil serving. We will definitely be back but if they ask, I will highly recommend that they move the boil to Thursday night when they aren’t as busy and maybe just do a limited menu that night to feed the seafood aficionados.

The people were great the food was good only thing bad I can say wouldn’t pay $5 to walk around and look it’s a beautiful place but if you eat dinner should be able to walk around without pain I already spent money but other than that it’s a wonderful place nice place to eat outside in overlooking the river

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday. There were no options except for chicken and dumplings, barbecue pork chops or chicken. After sitting for 15 minutes, the waitress finally came over and took our drink and food order. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and one hour to get our food. Once the food finally arrived it was cold and did not come all out at once. To compensate for our weight, we were offered a piece of chocolate pie, which we never got. The chicken and dumplings were gross.
