My family and I travel often, but it’s not very often we find a restaurant like this. We came to Liberty for breakfast and to say we were impressed was an understatement, it was AMAZING! Carols was our server, he was so kind and gentlemen like. This restaurant has been saved in our “return to” spots. Can’t wait to be back

I love coming here for a late breakfast on the weekdays. The owners are really friendly and welcoming, and they’ll recognize you on your second visit. Countless times I’ve heard them greet people by name. Really shows how much they care. Food’s delicious and service is always great. I also think they have the best coffee in the area, no contest.

Came here because their website said they had pumpkin pancakes, they had great reviews, and they’ve been there since the 70s. Great staff and service. Ordered the pumpkin pancakes. I was checking out the pancakes, and they smelled so good that I decided to only put a little butter on them and no syrup. The owner stopped at my table and saw I didn’t put any syrup on them and asked me if I liked them. He patiently waited for me to take a bite. They were exceptional. I told him they were really good and he said, “I know” and walked away. They had just the right amount of spice to them. The Greek skillet was really good, too. I will stop in here again next time I’m in Libertyville. I stopped a year later, and the pumpkin pancakes were even better, and I got Three! Didn’t need syrup, they were that good.

I asked a host this if she enjoyed her freedom and she said yes very much. I said oh that’s nice. So you must offer a military discount to give respect to those who were willing to go to war and possibly die for their freedom that they have. She said nope. Military discount. Everything else was pretty good.

We are from out of state and stopped while passing through. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. They continuously fill your water and coffee. The portions are equal to the prices. We would definitely stop again.

This was my first time dining here! I went with a large group, 14 people, and everyone enjoyed their dishes! The place is nicely decorated, very clean, and in a great location! The staff is friendly, accommodating, and kind! There’s plenty of parking, and space inside for seating. I got the chicken and waffles, and it was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not too crispy and not too soft. It had a hot honey flavor, which was the perfect balance of slightly spicy and honey-sweet. The waffles were soft and tasty too. The portion size was perfect. Highly recommend!

Had Berry crepes were very delicious. Had a side order of ham very good also, found 3 cloves that they baked the ham in. Price for the ham was $7.50 crepes were $14.50. Very good food but pricey. Thought this was a Greek restaurant which it probably is not. Husband had a cheese omlette and pancakes he said they were very good.

Always good! Been eating there for over 30 years. Their food is diverse, the restaurant is clean, the staff is polite. For some reason, it seems individuals are marking some of these locations as closed, when they are not. That’s unfortunate!
Bathrooms are always spotless, and like I always say in my reviews, clean bathrooms, clean kitchen!
My wife’s bacon waffle was as good as it usually is, and my bacon avocado omelette with onions and cheese in the potatoes and wheat toast also was just as good as ever. And, the portions are large.

First time here came on a Sunday morning & got seated right away. Nice selection on the menu. As everything else nowadays prices are a bit high for some items, but I guess it was pretty fair for others. I ordered the Belgian waffle with strawberries & bananas with a side of hash browns & bacon. My hunny got an omelet. We were both happy with our choices! My hasbrowns did come out a bit cold, but our waiter had no issue putting in another order & it came out hot! Will def go back.

The owner runs a very tight ship! It was nice to see him on the floor, greeting customers and making sure the workers were efficient.
Very big portions. I was in a party of 10. Everyone ordered something different, and we were all very happy. The food took about half an hour, but we arrived at a very busy time.
