Every time I eat here, I ask myself…. “Is this my favorite restaurant in Panama City?” And the answer is always yes. It’s so intimate (only 10-12 tables), very subtle location hidden away on 2nd, with a small sign and very little flair. Exactly how I like my secret hidden gem eateries. The carpaccio is incredible, the liver and onions very savory if you’re into that, and the pate with fresh bread is so delicate and creamy. I just never know what to get when I sit down because you can’t go wrong.

The food was too beautiful to eat. But I did and loved it. Service and atmosphere was fantastic. Hope to come back someday, it is worth ubering out to! Plus you get to see the Panama City hats.

I was amazed by this gem in Casco Viejo! As with most modern restaurants in Casco, its interior was beautiful. The service was great; we were greeted in Spanish but the server also spoke English and did a great job recommending dishes for us. I highly recommend the fried rice with popcorn chicken and the chipotle hummus. Both were delicious! The hummus was large enough and had enough protein to make it a filling meal (but you may have to order more bread). Lastly, the white sangria was a delicious way to wash down the tasty meal. This place is a must visit for Mediterranean-Panamanian fusion cuisine.

This cool restaurant serves a mix of Middle Eastern food with Colombian food, to create a menu of super interesting dishes. We came for lunch one day and enjoyed it so much we returned the next night for our last dinner in Casco Viejo, knowing we’d have another great meal.
Over the course of those two meals we had:
yucatones bravos – perfectly fried and delicious salsa!
empanadas de shawarma – tasty
hummus falafel – such creamy hummus reminiscent of what we have had in the Middle East, with crunchy and flavorful falafel and a great little salsa
pita – so nice and soft
hummus shawarma – same amazing hummus but with delicious chicken shawarma
falafel – more, just on its own because it was so good
lula salad – perfectly grilled chicken on a fresh salad with an absolutely delicious dressing that I was mopping up with my extra pita
The restaurant’s vibe is calm and relaxing, and the service is great. Both people that served us were welcoming, attentive and friendly.

Staying five days in Panama City, we wanted to eat in different place every meal. This place is the best! Their Pita beats Pita Pan in my opinion, hands down. Chumus (Humus) was amazing! Best kosher culinary experience in Panama. Off the beaten track, but worth the stop!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The wait for the delicious food was very short. The food was beyond anything I’ve tasted and this is the 5th kosher restaurant in Panama I’ve been to so far. Lula, you’ve got me wowed! If I ever return to Panama I will be sure to come back! The atmosphere, staff, and food was top notch!!

Loved this little gem of a restaurant. Incredible empanadas, gnocchi. Good steaks but I should have ordered a better cut. Very good prices and service. Oh, and it’s Kosher
