Ok, so I just ate China Kitchen for the first time in years. It was my FAVORITE and, for years, I have raved about it and told everyone I know to give it a try. So, we ordered some takeout about a week ago and I was THRILLED that I could order China Kitchen for delivery, as it’s not very close or convenient to my house. I was sooooo disappointed in what we received. Not one thing we ordered was anything at all like what we’d had previously. I’m not sure if they switched owners or what but we ordered several dishes and could not even eat most of it. I’ll just eat at the spots close to my house, I suppose!

Delicious! the lady that took my order with the pretty nails was so nice. I had the shrimp egg foo yong with brown gravy and fried rice and shrimp eggroll and an order of Chinese donuts everything was cooked to order, tasted fresh. I would absolutely dine again.

Egg drop and hot & sour soups were delicious as were the chicken lo mein and sesame chicken! Everything tasted exactly as I wanted and cooked to perfection!

First time ordering from China Kitchen. It is was excellent. Cashew chicken had plentiful vegetables and good cuts of chicken. Fried dumplings were larger than other places. Husband ordered MooGoo Gaipan and he lived it. We’ll definitely be back!

I bypass SEVERAL Chinese Restaurants near me JUST to come to this one. They’re always so pleasant & the restaurant is always clean. And the food is always delicious and prepared in a timely manner. And most importantly for me is that they’re open everyday. Most places close on Sundays but if I get a craving on a Sunday it’s reassuring to know that I can come here for some good food & be greeted with a beautiful smile from the owner. Win…win!

So I always go to happy wok in Trussville but I was being lazy because that’s a 15 minute drive and this is a 5 minute drive. I didn’t call ahead. They definitely are made to order. The wait was 30 minutes from order to food. It looked like they were breading the chicken fresh. I took it home and didn’t eat it right away. I waited maybe 30 minutes and it was still hot. The egg Roll was a 10/10. Delicious. Chicken was amazing. So much flavor and it was made with white meat. The fried rice was good but nothing special. I will definitely be back and order ahead next time.

Tried once again and it’s confirmed another lost customer. Ordered honey chicken was served orange chicken and they were hard, crunchy, over sauced pieces. Yellow rice not fried rice. Pepper steak was also not appetizing. Tried to call them about the order and no one answered so unfortunately I will not return.

I dont normally share reviews. This place use to be great when the lady worked there. Customer service has definitely gone down hill. The lobby you wait in to get your food is extremely hot as there is no ac or circulation of air. This last time I ordered my dad and I both got very sick after eating the fried rice. Stayed up all night and heart rate was up. My kids never ate the fried rice and had no issues. We felt lightheaded, anxious, and had stomach issues. I personally threw up. I will never spend money here again. Please be careful eating their food. I would not want anyone else to get sick like we did.
