Extremely disappointed with the cake I received for the price I paid. I asked for a cammo/ hunting themed cake and even shared a picture of what exactly the theme of my sons 1st birthday was. I called at the beginning of the week and asked if instead of picking the cake up Saturday morning if I could pick up Friday evening, which she stated the only way I could pick up Friday was if it was after 4pm. I told her perfect, I don’t even get off work until 430. My husband ended up going to pick the cake up around 4-430 and when he got there, she stated she still needed to decorate it and it would be ready by 530. Not a problem, my husband found some things to do around town to give her time to finish up. Upon pick up, she would not show my husband the cake from in the back until he paid the remaining 50% balance, plus he tipped. In total I paid $82.50 my husband expressed his concerns with the cake to which she insisted I told her I had a cake topper for the cake and this was why the cake was not decorated. My husband told her this was not true but she insisted so my husband left with the cake. I contacted her too make right of all of this but she was very unprofessional. She stated she could partially refund me- which I get, and I was okay with…. Until the partial refund she gave me was $12.50. It took my mother in law showing up at her place of business the next day for her to agree to refund me an additional $45. Mind you, I had already took the cake and gave it back to her business the evening before. She was no longer at work and when her staff tried to reach out to her numerous times about the issue we were having, she ignored everyone’s calls. It took me messaging her privately before she responded about the cake.

The Good: bakery is super cute. The owner is very friendly. The homemade buttercream is amazing.
The Frustration: The cake didn’t look like it was supposed to. The cake was a little overcooked. The cake was supposed to have purple rose on it. I completely understand the printer is not working, so no skull, but because you rushed to decorate the cake, it didn’t have to detail it was supposed to. It was also frustrating that it was not done by the time I scheduled to pick up. (Order was placed over a month in advance, and I called a week before pick up to make sure there were no questions).
The Cook Monster cake: was adorable but was supposed to have a chocolate chip cookie dough center but did not.

This is just simply a gem in Blackstone. You can’t top the creative and tasty treats that Taylor whips up. She’s a culinary genius! And she makes an awesome coffee too! There’s also a bunch of great vegan options! The vibe in here is super chill too, and there’s so much fun stuff to look at!

The food and coffee is great it’s just too overpriced. A basic bacon egg and cheese is $13. I wish I could support this place more but I can’t afford to do so. Everyone is nice and the atmosphere is cute. Their open sign can be deceiving sometimes

So delicious! The cheesy bagel was crispy and the hashbrown was too! Nice options for sweet and savory breakfast. Very nice spot in town!!

I’ve been here multiple times for their coffee and food. The quality of both the food and drinks have always been great and keeps me coming back.
I’d recommend their ice lattes and pizza! Their salads are also highly recommended due to their enormous portion size.
Don’t forget to check out their outdoor space for their fireplace and live music time to time.

This place has it all! From the vegan muffins to the brunch menu and customer service it is 5 stars all around! Also Taylor the owner/baker is the sweetest and has gone above and beyond for us several times by staying a little later to get us a mocktail or a coffee. Absolute sweetheart of a person and I will be their customer for life!

Driving through Blackstone we happened upon Sweet Dreams and ordered an afternoon treat. The atmosphere was charming and the treat was sweet and delicious. We relaxed in their cozy furniture, browsed their cute library and relaxed during our long drive home.
