We were excited to try Fiamata for the first time and unfortunately we left underwhelmed. Making reservations was easy with a simple phone call. When we arrived parking was an issue bc there weren’t any spots so we created our own. It was a Friday night so it was busy. We arrived, were greeted right away, and sat in our booth.

The booth was super tight and not comfortable at all. We quickly realized it was going to be tough to have a conversation because it was so loud. It also became very hot very quickly.

It took a while for our waitress to arrive. Drink orders were placed and took a while to arrive. The bread and dipping sauce was very good. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari to share for the table and both were great. The environment kept getting louder and hotter.

When our food finally arrived it was just ok. I had the Scallop Venetzia which had little flavor and the risotto was bland. I would have used salt and pepper if it was on the table. My wife enjoyed her shrimp pesto pasta dish. Our friends said their filet and crab cake meals were just ok.

The service was poor. It was Friday night and very busy but it took way too long to order, and for the drinks and food to arrive.

The prices were fine but I’m not sure we will ever go back. Get some air moving in there so it’s more comfortable temperature wise. The experience was just meh.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a while now.

We finally were able to.

The prices are extremely fair.

The food was fantastic.

I had 3 different meals from the chicken parm. Dinner at the restaurant, lunch, and dinner before it was gone.

The service and atmosphere were great.

Will definitely be back!

Best Italian food I’ve had in a while and I do mean a while. I came here with a friend for lunch today and the food was amazing.
The ambiance was also amazing, and the service was out of this world.

I tried the calamari, Arancini (LOVED THIS), and the Rollatini (delicious).

I brought the Fusilli Granchio home for my husband to try (he’s hard to please) and he was instantly impressed. I think we found a new date spot! I highly recommend Fiamata.

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️: They add credit card fees to your check. It will always and forever be my opinion that the prices of the menu items should cover these operational costs without tacking these on surprisingly at the end. Otherwise, I really wanted to like this place but I ended up being underwhelmed. Visited in a Saturday evening, had reservations for 3. It got very very loud in there very quickly. Couldn’t really have a conversation at the table. The booth felt a bit crammed and uncomfortable. Service was ok; the server was nice but it was a challenge to understand what she was saying when she was trying to read the food and drink specials off her list. Ordered wine and that was fine. Cream of crab was good. However, the fettuccine Mediterraneaneo desperately needed salt. Adding old bay to this recipe would have greatly improved the flavor. The tagliatelle tramonto was bland at best and the chicken appeared overcooked and rubbery. The sauce was non-existent. The crab cake was good overall. Didn’t order dessert so I can’t comment on that aspect of the meal because at that point between the noise and dining experience I was just ready to go. I don’t think I’ll return considering everything.

Went here a few weeks ago on a Thursday evening for my wife’s birthday. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very polite. We ordered the bruschetta, oysters rockefeller, sea scallops and the meatballs. All the food came out quick and was very tasty. We ordered the raspberry cheesecake for dessert and it came out with a birthday candle. It was very nice of them. Had a great time. Highly recommend.

August 2025: Second visit. Food is still very good, the Buratta was excellent and the house specials were very good. The service was really frustrating, a big dip from the first visit. It wasn’t overly busy, as it got quieter we saw our waitress less & less. Our wine didn’t arrive until we were half way through our entrees, waitress blamed the bartender. But we could see that neither of them were busy, so it was irritating to not get them until I stared at the waitress long enough for her to go get them herself. Then we waited 15 min for her to clear our plates, we’d already decided against dessert b/c we didn’t know how much longer we’d have to stay to get it. We’ll be back, third visit will tell the tale on the service.

July 2025: Went for the first time and were so glad we visited. The food is great and the service is very good. The atmosphere is nice, more on the casual side than fancy. But that’s not reflected at all in the service. Bar area was lovely, easy to pop in and grab a table.

We were in town visiting friends and they took us to this gem of a restaurant — and wow, everything was amazing! The food was top-notch, the menu was packed with so many tempting options we could barely decide, and that specialty martini that tasted just like a Thin Mint cookie? Unreal. Definitely one of those “I’m coming back here next time I’m in town” kind of places!

I visited Fiamata for the first time last night and the experience was outstanding. Parking is a little bit of an adventure, but very easy to navigate and well worth the visit. The space is much larger inside than it appears from the road or lot, and the decor and atmosphere was warm and cozy, though packed with patrons, it was a bit loud. But again, nothing to deter you from heading out for a great meal!
Our hostess was very polite and accommodating, simply asking for a preference before seating is right away – no pressures or feeling like whatever we would choose would be “difficult” to offer. The place was packed, but there seemed to be plenty of seating, even during their peak hours. We were immediately greeted by our server, Ben, who was a great host – professional and cordial with easy to understand dialog and conversation. He answered all of my questions for preparation and serving and we were extremely happy with his service throughout the night. I got the Chicken Rockefeller with the Aracini appetizer arriving with the meal while my partner got a range of items as well, including a drink. The dishes were outstanding with an emphasis on the quality of preparation; plating and timing of the cook were right on and offered another level of quality to the meal.
Their menu includes easy to understand information and includes “popular/favorites/house specialties” symbols to help guests decide on their meal. I chose items that were not icons and felt the quality was just as good as anything else on the menu. The pasta was perfectly al dente (though I do like a slightly thicker fettuccine noodle), and my chicken was right on target as well.
Desserts were good, but may not be the reason to head to the restaurant. The risotto on the other hand – yes, go there for the risotto!! The Aracini was outstanding and I’m looking forward to the leftovers today!
Overall, it was a fantastic visit and we will absolutely be headed back to Fiamata when I’m the area!

From the outside you can’t tell how much they’ve done on the inside to make this place feel and look very contemporary and upscale. Great local crowd on a Saturday night for dinner. Lots of high top tables. We sat at a high top. I’m retrospect very cramped. Next time we’ll get a regular table. The food was good and the service was great. And a Bambino’s menu ‼️

We were a party of 5, 1 of whom requires a walker. We were seated at a comfortable table for 5 in room that was unoccupied when we arrived, and as it happened, remained so. As a family group catching up after not seeing each other for a while, that was an extra added benefit.
– Our waitress was charming, patient and attentive.
– We enjoyed every bite of our food, from the bread and tasty dip that served as our appetizer, to our dinners and (how we had room for it, we don’t know) desserts.
– The delicious dinners included pork chop and fries, bucatini with meat sauce and a side of green beans and carrots, fettuccine alfredo, and shrimp and pasta with alfredo sauce.
– Desserts were heavenly and included butter cake with vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce and strawberries, chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, cannoli, and chocolate mousse cake.
