Great location and the food was good. Large party tables and tables for date night. There is a separate lounge above the restaurant so you can end the date night nice music right upstairs. We could not hear and could not tell anything was above it as we did not hear anything.

The place was beautiful. The staff was very responsive. The menu is more extensive on the Japanese side than on the Chinese side. The flavors of their meals are on the milder side from what we ordered. Their cocktails are really tasty too. Their prices are tax exclusive however, making the final bill on the pricey side.

Shogun is a nice place to hang up with friends and family. the environment is so beautiful and homely to the extent that you would not want to leave after your meals. Personally I wish I never came to this restaurant. There was a roach crawling around, if you look closely in the picture I provided you will see it. Unfortunately the tuna tartare was not fresh. Something is off about the one they served me and it has caused me issues since eating it. I had not eaten anything all day and the only food I had was from Shogun. The next morning after visiting shogun, things were coming out from both ends of me. I was throwing up and shitting uncontrollably. I went to shogun around 8pm and left around 11pm, my sickness started just 9 hours afterwards. The only conclusion is that the tartare was not fresh/ was not stored properly. That’s very unfortunate and things like that can actually kill someone. I don’t know who to contact regarding this but something needs to be done. You can’t sell raw food and not have it be fresh and stored properly.
It wasn’t my first time eating tartare either so I know my stomach can handle it. I’m still recovering from this. Never did I think my birthday celebration would land me in the situation that I’m currently in.
I also got the beef broccoli and to be honest, it tasted like mall food.
While we were eating, it was uncomfortable because the workers were all watching us. I get that they want to be attentive but also that makes people uncomfortable. I don’t think anyone wants to be watched as they eat.

This Asian-Fusion restaurant is amazing. They have a menu from a selected range of East Asian cuisine. Everything I had there was top-notch. The ingredients were also so fresh, and the taste was very unique. Their service is great. The time it takes to serve your food from the time you order is very timely. They don’t delay anything in the slightest. Now to the setting, amazing. The place is Japanese inspired, and if you love taking pictures, then it’s set up for you. You just have to know how to adjust your light settings on your cameras for great pictures. If you’re celebrating your birthday and you want to be celebrated, just tell the servers, and you’ll get a surprise. NB. You’ll pay for any dessert served during that birthday celebration.

My girl and I had such a great time here, and the food was good. We had a number of appetizers and drinks. We stayed for hours and never felt rushed. The restaurants ambience was chill. I would definitely go back the next time I’m in Ghana
