G Prime is a fantastic dining experience and easily one of the best upscale restaurants in the area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels sophisticated and inviting—perfect for a special night out, celebration, or just a really nice dinner.
The food is excellent. Every dish we tried was high quality, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of attention goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. The steaks and seafood were especially impressive, and the menu offers a great variety to suit different tastes.
The service was just as good as the food—professional, attentive, and friendly without being overbearing. The staff made us feel well taken care of and added to the overall experience.
G Prime is definitely more of a higher-end restaurant, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of the meal and the ambiance. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!

Good food, Great service! If you have a reservation prepare to wait 20-30 minutes. Staff was friendly. I don’t believe the prime steak was aged but it was cooked to expected temp. Wilmington 10/10. Nationally 8.5/10

Birthday dinner! We were greeted with a Happy Birthday from the moment we checked in. Reservations of course. Staff was attentive and very fun and professional. Our waitress was Racheal and she was amazing. We started with wine and a lavender cocktail. We order the seafood tower as our starter. It had a dozen oysters, shrimp, tuna tartar and lobster. It was fantastic! For our entree we split the 48oz tomahawk steak with scallop potatoes and mushrooms also fantastic. We got carrots cake to go!. Over all 5 stars it was the perfect birthday dinner!

The food was very very good. We both enjoyed very much. Our server could have been a little more attentive and also could have told us that the meals we ordered were pretty much the same as the appetizer so we could have gotten a different appetizer, but delicious anyhow. Dessert was excellent too. The atmosphere is very nice. It’s is lovely inside. The host and hostesses were very welcoming. Overall a great experience

It was our 52nd wedding anniversary and from the time we walked in.. it was top notch!
The service at the beautiful bar was incredible!!
Our booth was in a good spot where we could watch everyone and everything !
We started our meal with the Lobster Burrata and it melted in your mouth!!!
My husband had the New York Strip and asparagus! The steak was done to perfection and not one bite left!
I had the small filet (medium) and the brandy cream sauce! Oh I died and went to heaven! The scalloped potatoes were awesome and I took leftovers home! There’s a nice wine list and we enjoyed wine by the glass!! (Several)! We opted to stay at the Hampton Inn next door so we could really relax and enjoy what G Prime served us! We highly recommend this fine dining establishment!!

Not sure why this place is 4.4 on Google reviews. The food was amazing and service was perfect. My wife and I shared the Seafood Tower and the Porthouse steak. The chilled Seafood tower included 12 raw oysters with the mignonette, 8 huge shrimp, a split lobster with the claws cracked and open, and shrimp ceviche. I’m not a huge raw oyster fan, but these were the freshest and best tasting I’ve had in a while. The shrimp were “colossal” size and so sweet. The lobster was perfect and easy to remove from the shell. The ceviche was served with wonton chips and tested wonderful and fresh with a pico de gallo flavor. My wife and I also split the 32oz porterhouse steak and it was served perfectly cooked medium and already sliced. The flavor was wonderful and well seasoned with no need for sauce. Lastly we shared the carrot cake and the smores chocolate bomb. Both deserts were wonderful and would get again. We were very happy with everything we had. The portions were good and we had leftover steak to take home, even though we didnt order any side dishes. The prices are high, but comparable to other fine dining restaurants in the area. In my opinion, you get what you pay for. The quality of the food and service was great and we will definitely be back.

We had a reservation at 8:30 PM, but were not seated until around 9:30–9:35 PM. After being seated, we continued to wait a long time with no staff coming to take our food order. Someone brought us water, but never returned to our table.
It was not until close to 10:00 PM that someone finally asked if we had been served. Only then were we able to order, and the food did not arrive until 10:23 PM. Waiting nearly an hour after being seated made the reservation completely meaningless.
What made this experience unacceptable was the restaurant automatically adding a $17.12 gratuity, despite the slow and inattentive service. Our total bill was $167.99—the cost was not the issue—but being forced to pay a tip without my consent is something I do not agree with.
What made it even more disappointing is that this was our anniversary, yet we felt ignored and disrespected, while other tables appeared to receive attentive service.
We came to this restaurant based on recommendations from many of our American friends and clients, which is why we chose to dine here. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I really wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is outstanding. Very classy and upscale looking. Great decor and I loved the color scheme. However, the food was mediocre. For the price point, I expect much better. I feel that I could have gotten better food at a Longhorn for a fraction of the price. Service was just ok. Our waitress wasn’t around very often and we had to ask for the rest of our food to be delivered when it didn’t show up. I don’t think I’d dine here again.
