Their sliders where an insult proportion wise, the total came out to 11. And they only had 2 pieces of meat in small portion. It was like an insult to my stomach. Worst bbq ever to be commercialized. Don’t eat here. They are serving as if they are short on food.

I came here a couple times ago and I felt sick. I’m never returning back anymore. I’m no longer available to visit this location anymore. If we can make a permanent closure date by March 23rd 2026 at 4:00 PM? Because I had COVID-19 going on.

Always fresh and ready to serve… and really wasn’t that busy. The ribs were mouth watering and the brisket just fell apart lifting it from the plate

I ordered a chicken fried steak. At first glance, it was small & could tell it was frozen before being cooked again. As I started to eat it I felt like I was crunching into a cookie with little meat it’s at all any. I spent close to $30 on this meal. I encourage and employ you not to make the same mistake as I did. I wasn’t able to finish it because it was so disgusting.

VERY SMALL portions if you get delivery!!
See attached photos. NOT acceptable! THIS is $46? $55 with delivery. So tired of paying “dine in” prices for tiny portions and scant condiments! These Woodlands restaurants need to stop taking advantage of our need to distance.

Ribs were good. Sauce good but needed a little hickory smoke flavor.

I keep returning here because the owners (Jeffrey & Cynthia) and staff do a great job making the best barbecue in The Woodlands. I always see at least one of them greeting customers everytime I visit. Really says a lot when I see the owners sweeping/mopping the floor. That’s what makes them great. Not too proud/good to do something, and it gets result from team members. When I’m done eating, staff gets there quickly to ask if Im done, and promptly removes plates from table. It’s little things like this that keeps southern hospitality alive. Plenty of care and effort is put into their product. This particular Dickey’s is my favorite location of all for all these reasons.

I specifically asked for “fatty” and “marbled” meat. And the receipt indicates a ‘moist’ preference. This was heartbreaking and ruined our Labor Day meal. Cannot imagine their “lean” cuts being drier than this.

I will give them 2/5 for the simple fact that the sides weren’t bad….but the price is quite steep for the quality of food.

I paid $20 for a very small portion of sliced brisket + $7.50 for 1/4 pound extra. This brisket was comparable to chewing leather, that’s how dry it was. In order to eat it, one needed to douse it in bbq sauce which should never happen in Texas.

My to go order with tip was right around $47-48 and was not worth it! Please if you want good quality bbq around the area go to Woodalls or Pappas. Both of them have amazing brisket
