I had the fried chicken and mac n cheese. Both were tasty and decently sized. I ate so fast, I forgot to take pictures ♀️ I look forward to trying more menu items. The owners were charming and you can definitely feel the love in the food. Don’t sleep on this place!

The food was absolutely amazing. You definitely have to know what you want. I ordered my food ahead of time and no wait time when I got there. The customer service is awesome also. They were very helpful walking me through the menu and were super nice.

We are so happy to have some more variety in the small towns here, I know specially for me cause I came from the city and more then often there’s pizza on every block two or three in each town. Don’t get me wrong it’s great just monotonous and no spice to your life coming from a block where you have ranges of taste and food. This place takes me back to those memories.. just diving into the scrumptious food. So blessed to see the advancement taking place with Ongeez and growing into even more of a great little spot to let go and eat great! We love us some ONGEEZ

I’m super disappointed. I got to the restaurant and basically everything on the menu wasn’t offered. (Probably due to food shortage) which isn’t their fault. Staff is super friendly which is a plus but the food was just basically thrown together in a container and the fried chicken was too seasoned. I’ll give them another shot but hopefully next time it’s better because tonight it was just not hitting. Not to mention I paid 8$ for two baked macs which they told me after I paid wasn’t available and only substituted it with two empanadas.

Everything was filled with salt and was impossible to eat unless you had something to wash it down after every bite. Plus the price you pay is ridiculous! 2 scoops of mac and cheese for $10 and $10 for 12 ounces of strawberry pina colada and both were not good. The pernil (roast pork) was a decent portion but again salty and the rice had no flavor. The beef and cheese empanadas were salty and had no cheese inside. Update: My facebook review has disappeared and I am no longer allowed to comment or review this business. No wonder their rating is 5 stars.

How many reviews have been deleted to maintain 5 stars? I haven’t had anyone else comment it. By the way, we did mix pork and rice together and was still way too salty. Bland is one thing, but adding a ton of salt to cover it up is another! Sorry you don’t like the review, but people should know the good and the bad.

A hidden gem of Spanish food tucked away in Afton. Real down home cooking. Try the Latin appetizers like the empanadas and southern sweet yams. They need to put a more visible sign out on the corner since you could easily miss it.

We loved everything we ordered. We got the chicken, fish, empanadas, and a lot of sides. It was plenty to eat (lots of leftovers) and delicious. We will definitely order from here again. Highly recommend.
