We went on a Friday night and there were a few families in the restaurant. Pretty quiet.
The dining room is pretty old-school, it hasn’t been updated for a long time.
Everyone at our table liked their steak, it was done correctly. I had the Fillet Mignon and it was good. It could have used a generous hand with seasoning but it was still good.
Bottom line, if you’re looking to get a steak in the Springfield area, this is the place to do it. If you’re looking for blow-your-mind amazing food or atmosphere, keep driving.

Food was delicious and the waitress was personable and very pleasant. it was nicely appointed with antiques They were very generous with their helpings. Prices were moderate to spendy depending on your selection, but my queen size prime rib leftovers fed me for a second meal… so not bad. I would definitely visit again if I was out this way.

The ribs in the buffet had lots of small bone peices that were loose as I ate my meal is the only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 star otherwise everything else about the food was great! Yes I’d try eating there again to see if the ribs have improved without any small bones as I eat so I may give you guys a 5 star the next time.

This place is rad. Tommy himself still chefs in the kitchen. The salad bar was excellent, with many fresh options to choose from. My wife and I both had steaks and they were fantastic. Great service and a classic small town atmosphere.

First time to Springfield, MN. Food was pretty good as I had the Lemon Chicken Breast and baked potato. I should’ve gotten the twice baked potato as it was really good (thanks to my husband for letting me eat his). Kim assisted our group and she was absolutely wonderful!!

I had the butterfly shrimp. The breading was horrible! It was thick and tastless. Almost more batter than shrimp. I should have said something, but didn’t. The waitress was friendly and the salad bar was good.

My husband had the special, Prime rib. Best he’s ever eaten he said. I had the garlic butter sirloin with baby reds. Mouth watering and it comes with a soup and large salad bar instead of a plain side salad. We topped it off with cheesecakes for dessert. Wonderful food, great service. You can’t go wrong for dinner on a Saturday night.
