Locals were a lot of fun while ate lunch and shared a beer or two. The food was homemade and fantastic. The owners (the bartender and the cook/waitress) were fun and happy-go-lucky. Great place, great people, great food!

“Old-school”, small-town pub and grill experience. Friendly bartender, super staff, very affordable, terrific food, perch is incredible, and very clean. The only reason I give it a four-star rating is that it’s a bit outdated, but that’s part of the ambience. And the night we were there, they we short-staffed – they kindly told us so (what place isn’t these days) – it took nearly 40 minutes for our meals to come out. Waited 45 minutes for our food order to be taken. (The restaurant had two other tables.) Never stopped by to say she was delayed.

Perch was the worst I’ve ever eaten. It was very salty and had an off taste. Broasted potatoes were more like french fries.
Begrudgingly left a tip because it is customary, not because it was earned for service.

Everything was really good! Breaded cod fish fry was light and tasty. French onion soup was delicious. Crown Royal cheese cake is to die for can’t eat just one bite! Waitress was very friendly and personable. Definitely will revisit Sipps!

Well after reading all the reviews about how great the food and atmosphere was, we were super excited to come in and try it out as we are only in town for 2 days. We walked in, looked around for a table and there was nothing available (including at the bar) so we expected maybe someone would let us know that there would be a short wait. But nothing……literally nothing. We stood there for at least 15 min as staff walked by and not once were we even acknowledged. I understand being busy, but when customers come in, the very least that can be done is to acknowledge them. Needless to say we finally walked out.

Great service and great food! I got the soup which was creamy vegetable and it was delish. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. In addition, the cheese curds were the BEST! Really happy with the food and service here. Definitely going to be returning!

Took quite a long time to get our food. Then the fish & fries were over cooked. The bread & coleslaw were good. The other 3 I was with did not say anything about there food, so maybe this was an anomaly.
