I’ll start off by saying I understand Halloween is one of the busiest days of the year for pizza places. However, our experience goes slightly beyond busy..
We preordered and paid for 3 pizzas the night before Halloween to be delivered on Halloween evening. Our delivery window came and went, so we decided to call. Every time we called, the phone would pick up and hang up. It was honestly bizarre. Got in the car to go pick up the pies instead (again, maybe they’re just really busy) and it’s not too far, but with trick or treating with the kids, delivery was ideal.
Upon arriving, there were no customers inside. The phone was continuously ringing and I kid you not, they were picking the phone up off the receiver and promptly hanging it up. Our order had not been made yet, we waited another hour and a half and then finally got our three pizzas. I asked what would have happened if we didn’t come in and the reply was that the pizzas simply wouldn’t have been delivered. Upon all the chaos, the workers were laughing and really just not taking the absolute operational failure they were in, seriously. It’s a shame, because they have great pizza, but one would think that if you have a back order of pizzas on what you know is one of the busiest days of the year, you would be a bit more prepared.

This is a wild one. Me and my coworkers called to order a pizza, wings and fries, and a cheesesteak. The woman on the phone had asked to confirm what we wanted on the cheesesteak, I responded with provolone and onions (this is important for later).
Well 20 minutes later they arrived at our location and the delivery person was angry and rude when handing us our food. Actually didn’t even give us a moment to give him the cash tip we had.
They forgot the cheese steak. So we called back and she told us oh she just didn’t put the cheesesteak in. Kind of shocked about this, but dang. We asked them to put it in again to get it delivered. She told us $3 delivery fee for it…In my opinion they probably should have waived it for omitting it from the original order. Well we received the order, the man delivering it was rude again.
They ended up charging more for the delivery fee. Wild behavior from this place. Plenty of other pizza and steak places than to deal with this kind of treatment and over charging.

I ordered from here, food never got delivered but I got charged. I was told they couldn’t find my order. The owner told me she would write me a check and never did. I reversed the charge with my credit card carrier, when the carrier contacted the owner, she said the food was delivered. I have it in writing that the owner said they could not find an order from me and the statement they gave my credit card carrier saying the food was delivered. There are much better options in Havertown; don’t give your money to someone who does business like this.
EDIT: Response to the owner. An honest review that can be backed up by your own words is not harassment. If your statement is true: “mailed you money more than once”, you should have no problem providing a paper trail to get this review removed.

I hate to do this because this is my favorite lunch stop. However, several times I come for lunch and there is no air conditioning! I enjoy eating inside, not in my car. How the workers are not fainting is beyond me. You need a quality AC technician to get this place cooled down. Thank you

I stopped in the other evening (~6PM). I ATTEMPTED to order a pepperoni pizza to go. The girl, at the counter , refused my business. She instructed ne to go on- line and order with my cellphone.
No thank you. There are at least three other pizza options, one of which is within WALKING DISTANCE right on Eagle Road..
I believe that I discovered why their parking lot is ALWAYS EMPTY at lunch and dinner time. 1 ☆ for “Food” since I could not taste it.

Nice place the service was great, I was disappointed with the food. My meatball sandwich was soggy and not from the sauce. The pizza was plain. I did enjoy the house brand sodas.

I think I liked/almost loved Toni Roni’s of Havertown. The Internet says they open at 10 AM. I got there at 10:30. They welcomed me but I could tell I was interrupting their morning routine. The food they were putting in the cases looked amazing. The chicken the cook was prepping on the grill looked amazing. The lunch specials are very good. My cheesesteak looked amazing. My first bite was very good but felt soft. The meat was very tender and easy to chew. The roll was light and airy. Unfortunately by the end of the cheesesteak the roll had lost it’s light and airyness. You can see in the one picture how the roll had collapsed. Overall good experience. $8.38.

Got a caprese chicken. The bites where the chicken wasn’t burned and that actually included the mozzarella and tomato were good. The rest was mediocre. I would avoid this place unless you want tomato pie. The tomato pie is excellent and the best around.

Looks like the oil needs to be changed. Fries are way too overdone. My kids wouldn’t eat them. (They came in the kids chicken finger meal).

I had a great experience at Tony Roni’s this evening! It began with great customer service when ordering over the phone. The same woman helped us with our order at the location and she kindly greeted us. In today’s world, good customer service is hard to find. I truly appreciated it!
And the pizza was great too! Especially the taco pizza.
