This is the best chicken tender I have ever had! It was delicious. They have two different types of batter depending on what sauce you choose. We tried both the korean and the extra spicy sauce and they were so good and crispy. The restaurant is small and clean. The ambiance was good they had large TVs for the games. Also they have a new shrimp sandwich is absolutely fantastic! Idk what i was expecting but it was soooooooo good! Perfectly crispy! The service was really good! I could see they were busy but they still made our food pretty quick! Everything is fresh to order so I really appreciate that!

Honestly the food isn’t the best I’ve had but the service and atmosphere really make a huge difference, also if you like 99 cent longnecks this is your place.

Legend Hot Chicken in Lakewood is the go-to Korean fried chicken spot! The casual shop is super welcoming with the high ceilings, colorful walls, and the amazing service (say hi to the owner, Brandon for us!).

We got to try a bunch of items including:
– The iconic chicken sandwich combo that paired amazingly with some drizzled honey.
– Chicken tenders were huge, crispy, and juicy. – Our plethora of sides were are breaded nicely and tasty! My favorite was the breaded shrimp fries –SO GOOD! We also had fried oysters, fried squid legs, and spring rolls.

And we weren’t the only ones were enjoyed our meal, we overheard the party next to us go up to the owner and tell him this was the best chicken he’s ever had and he will DEFINITELY be back and we will as well!

My Boyfriend and I frequent this place regularly, so much so that the owners recognize us! I love them and their small mom and pop shop, the chicken is always juicy and BIG, which is why the prices are the way they are; I ALWAYS have leftovers for the next day. This is definitely our go-to chicken spot no matter how far we are out in the day. Their chicken is incredibly juicy and their sauces always hit! I personally would recommend their 5-10 piece chicken tenders with Spicy honey (Honey bee) and garlic soy! They are also open super late into the night which makes this place super convenient for late night dinners/munchies after such a long day! I would always recommend and bring people to this establishment, they deserve a five starts rating. Also, their chicken is always fresh, they always make our order fresh it’s never pre made/pre fried chicken.

This food location was easy to find and had a cute gaming setup for the customers. It was quick and the food was good. The chicken strips were fried and not burnt which was a huge plus. I liked the atmosphere and the added ingredients upon ordering was great.

Rumor has it, LEGEND Hot Chicken has the best chicken around and we’re gonna put it to the test.

Here, you don’t have to choose between Nashville style or Korean fried chicken, they’ve got over 18 flavors total! I went with the Nashville style in medium heat for the Chicken sandwich combo and Waffle and tenders and it was extremely tolerable. And what goes more perfectly with fried chicken than their unbeatable 99 cent beer!

If you’re feeling more Korean dishes, the Kimchi fried rice and Spicy rice cakes will hit the spot. Be sure to add cheese and ramen noodles and thank me later 😉

Thanks for reading! ^-^

First time here and the food was delicious. Customer service was excellent. She recommended certain items since it was our first time, told us what they were famous for and they didn’t disappoint. Big pieces , crispy and delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back again.

Go for the tenders with Hot Honey!
We had them and they were great. But the kimchi fried rice not so much, it looked great and the egg was done perfectly, but it was lacking flavor, the vegetables were obviously canned and even needed some salt. This is not a cheap place either and also a bit complicated with the choices of heat level or sauce but you can’t have both?…Might give it a second chance but not sure.

This could be a 4 star place but they have some serious issues. I ordered the sando combo. It took 44 mins! They need to hire a few more people in the back of house. The chicken was delicious. The best balanced chicken sandwich in the area. It’s not as spicy as the others. Now the bad. The fries are store bought. Their menu is too large for 2 people and it shows in the details. The bun was good but way over cooked and the fries were way over cooked and not worth the calories. You get a small fountain drink with the combo and you walk out the door spending just under $16 and an hour wasted.

Really, really good hot chicken sandwiches. My first time, I was super impressed. Very large pieces of chicken. Good crunch. Tasty sauces. Fries were seasoned well. And while I can eat spicy, even their medium had quite a bit of heat to it (definitely start off with the medium and work your way up). And compared to Howlin’ Rays, no crazy wait or drive all the way down to Chinatown.
