I ordered the Red curry with chicken, fried rice and eggroll. My friend had Beef Lo Mein and a California roll. The light color dip for the eggroll (see photo) is awesome. Hard to tell if it had hot mustard or horseradish but it was really good! Our entire meal was hot and fresh and sooo good. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Went there during lunch hour. The place was fairly packed with folks.

I was seated promptly.

I had Spicy Thai Red Curry Chicken with fried rice with an egg roll.

It was basically an order of vegetables with very little chicken. The taste was ok. The rice was dry.

The best item was the egg roll. Very tasty!

Overall ok.

My wife and I had a great date night here. We usually eat at 5pm in order to get ahead of the rush and get better service and food. This experience was no exception. Service was great, food was fresh. My wife order the orange peel chicken and general tso’s chicken. I ordered a lobster roll and some appetizers. (Gyoza, chicken egg roll and crab rangoon)

Great experience and we will come back.

Just be aware that the Sushi bar is only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Edit: Wife wanted it clarified that we order a lot of extras, with which we plan to take home to eat. She DID NOT eat both dinner selections. I repeat, she DID NOT eat both selections herself.

EDIT: Went back 2x and both repeats were very disappointing. Overcooked american white rice used for both sushi rolls and steamed white rice. They keep using American white rice and not Jasmine for main dishes or Sushi rice for sushi rolls. Big faux pas for an Asian restaurant. Will not be going back.

Staff friendly food was good sauce settles to bottom so stir to get more rice flavor. Rice noodles was perfectly cooked good quality and big portions. Husband got the stir fry he liked it. Let on high side for prices. Tables are cleaned after each use like lid that a whole lot. They properly clean the area and food was fast to table.

There’s a lot to say about my experience here, but the main takeaway is that, given the price, I’m not sure the food lived up to its cost. If it were priced a bit lower, I could see it working well as a convenient takeout option. However, for the amount spent, I left feeling somewhat unsatisfied. The food isn’t necessarily bad—it’s actually quite decent—but it doesn’t stand out as exceptional, either. It lands somewhere in the middle, neither impressively good nor disappointing, but I’m unsure it offers enough value for the price.

One of the most surprising parts of my experience was that, even though I ordered several different dishes to sample a variety of flavors, I still left feeling hungry. It’s rare that I feel this way after dining out, and I’m not sure if that’s because the food itself wasn’t particularly filling or if it had something to do with portion sizes. This left me with a lingering question about whether the overall experience was worth it or if it’s simply the nature of the dishes they serve here.

On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. It had a fair number of customers, which is usually a reassuring sign of a restaurant’s quality. The staff was also attentive, polite, and responsive to our needs—they made sure to check in with us regularly and promptly brought us anything we requested, which added a nice touch to the experience.

As for the food, I ordered a variety to get a broad sense of what they offer: cheese wontons, a complimentary egg roll that came with the meal, potstickers, and house fried rice. Each dish had its strengths, though none really stood out as remarkable. The cheese wontons were crispy and flavorful, but nothing particularly unique. The potstickers were cooked well, with a good texture and flavor balance, but again, didn’t wow me. The egg roll was standard but enjoyable, adding a nice little crunch to the meal. The house fried rice, however, was a bit of a mixed experience; while it was cooked decently, some of the meat pieces were slightly overcooked, which took away from the enjoyment. The rice itself had a good consistency, though, so it was by no means a bad dish—just a little uneven.

Overall, I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be returning for another meal, primarily because of the price relative to the food quality and portion sizes. I might come back to sample a few different dishes to see if perhaps I just didn’t choose the best items on the menu. If I do return, I’ll likely go in with more tempered expectations. I would encourage anyone interested to give it a try for themselves, but I’d recommend going in with realistic expectations—don’t expect anything particularly extraordinary, but you’ll likely enjoy a clean environment with friendly service and a decent meal.

Decent food. Food came out fast. We ordered Fried Rice, Sesame Shrimp, Singapore Noodles. Each dish had plenty of meat. Singapore Noodles was too wet, Sesame Shrimp is a bit too sweet.

Stopped in here for dinner. Looked like a decent menu with good reviews. Nice little spot. Menu is simple & not overwhelming which is nice. Plenty of variety. We ordered some tea. Could have used a few more tea bags. It was fine. We started with the bang bang shrimp for our app, then I ordered the sesame chicken for my main. Both were really good! Shrimp were large, not those tiny little shrimp some places serve. Can’t go wrong with sesame chicken. It’s one of my go-to dishes. Large portions too. I had lots leftover. It’s just as good leftover as it is fresh.

I always have to ask for the plastic to-go containers rather than styrofoam. Most places will have them, you just have to ask or they’ll give you the styrofoam lol. I refuse to use those. They’re awful. I know they’re cheap, but please stop buying them 🙂

First time. I must say I was very pleased. The food was excellent. It was hot and had a very good flavor. I had the spicy scallion chicken and it was smoken good. My wife had the chicken fried rice and it was very good.

3/16/2024 – not busy. The food came hot and quick. Hands down the best egg rolls. House fried rice is very good.

The food was good, but the service really disappointed us. We hadn’t finished eating or ordering, and the waitress came over with the check, wished us a good day, and basically closed our tab as if we were done. We had actually told her earlier to leave the menu so we could keep ordering more items, but she didn’t give us the chance. We were planning to try a few more things, but since she decided we finished, we chose to continue our meal somewhere else where the staff would be more patient and willing to serve us—not rush us out.

Additionally, the place didn’t look very clean or hygienic, which is especially concerning for a restaurant that serves sushi and raw fish. It made us a bit hesitant to order that type of food there

This is a nice little Asian restaurant in a strip mall here in Statesville. Most of the time, we’ve ordered bento boxes to be delivered and have enjoyed them.

Eating inside is best, though. It’s cozy and clean and the workers are pleasant. The egg rolls (which were nice when delivered) were fantastic hit, right out of the fryer.

Their Lo Mein is very good, but their scallion chicken really is scrumptious.
I highly recommend Wild Wok as a reliable place for good food.
