Typical tasty small town diner. Good food, good value. Ate a basic breakfast, thru had a fun lunch buffet happening.

We had slow service and the fish tasted like it was raised in a toilet bowl. The country steak was more like a country hamburger and the baked potato was green and hard to get a fork into. Place seemed dirty and greasy. Food overall didn’t have much flavor beyond grease. The fish was watery. Really disappointing considering how many good reviews we read before we went in. Should have gone to Subway like we planned.

We love Cam’s Cafe. We lucked up on it, so glad we did. We live about 45 minutes away but it’s so worth it. The atmosphere is so inviting, staff is friendly, food is good. Next trip will be for breakfast buffet. See y’all soon.

It’s hard to judge this place. The service was good. Tables were clean. The buffet is a good touch. I’m trying to find a good hamburger! Why can’t a mom and pop place make a fresh burger, with quality meat for $4.00? All I can find is pre made grissil and chopped bone burgers usually well done.

Awesome lunch buffet on Sunday’s. We took a break from fishing at Lake Russell to come here and it was worth it. Friendly staff. Awesome fried chicken, ham, fixings, etc. Great southern grub!

I arrived there 10 minutes after they had closed and they still served me. I’ve never had that happen before. The entire staff was so nice and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant. Oh, the food was plentiful and delicious!

I’ve eaten here 3 times so far. Food has been good each time, and the price is right and the staff is very friendly. It’s a small town I am glad this place is here when you need a quick bite.

Food was good, fish buffet on Friday night, some ordered off the menu and there food was slow to come out. They could have used a little more help in the kitchen I think. But overall it was a good experience

We were in shock the whole time we waited for our food. I dont know why they have an open kitchen if they don’t intend to keep up to health code standards. First off the whole restaurant, kitchen included, is filthy. Right over the buffet there was a water stained dilapidated ceiling tile. Grime everywhere. I doubt the hood of their stove has been cleaned in this century. We watched the woman, regardless of how sweet she was, grab raw chicken, ungloved, and then proceed to touch all other parts of our meals that were already cooked. Not once did we see her wash her hand during the cooking process, and the only time she wore gloves was to scoop mayo… Our running joke as we ate our food back at our campsite was “You’re more likely to have a fly land on your food in that cafe than out here in open air.” Truth. Only reason we ate the food was because we were at the end of our tired and hungry rope. Lots of salt, but filled our stomaches.

They no longer offer senior discount and they said they don’t offer Police Offices discounts either. So we will dine somewhere else to eat. Police Officers are the ones that keep them safe. I don’t understand why they would and then stop when we are the ones keeping them in business!!!
