I’ll start with the good: The staff is nice, the food is tasty.
The bad: Small portions at big prices. Look at that pic. $12 take out chicken sandwich. Not even the size of a martins potato roll. The pizza suffers from much of the same- very small, very expensive for the size it is.
They have the staff, they have the tasty food, now they need to give you appropriate size portions for the fairly expensive prices they are charging. We only head here rarely now because of the portion size/price and get our takeout from elsewhere.

We stumbled across this spot as we were looking for a new lunch spot. We didn’t really expect much since the menu is mostly burgers and ice cream but we gave it a shot. It was so worth it! The burger and tots were amazing. The ice cream, you can tell, is fresh and tastes delicious. The seating area outside was nice and perfect for a beautiful day. We definitely will be back!

10 out of 10 absolute 10! The staff here is incredible. Talk about going above and beyond. I showed up a little bit before closing after working a 13 1/2 hour day. And when I walked in, I didn’t look at the hours and they were about to close and as soon as I realized what time it was, I apologized and told them it was no problem and they said no what do you want and they let me order and they were so kind and so friendly and the food was phenomenal. I got some incredibly delicious and perfectly cooked Buffalo wings with extra blue cheese and a Smashburger with their signature sauce. It was perfect! THANK YOU TIM! I will 100% be back and tell everybody about this hidden little gem in West Chester! This is a must go to spot!

Salty Cow delivers. I was just there with my buddies for the chicken tenders and of course the homemade ranch. The Cow has the crispiest pizza in West Chester and always keeps it interesting with new ice cream flavors. Great management and service staff to hangout with, BYOB spot to watch local sports.

Great spot for burgers and ice cream! Staff is always helpful and friendly. Bonus: there’s a nice park behind the restaurant to enjoy your bites especially for the kids and dogs.

This restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Thornbury park is gorgeous. There is a koi pond on the back deck. The food is good. There are only fountain sodas and bottles in the refrigerator. There is no table service here, which is a shame. You order and a runner brings your food to your table. You get your own drinks. Still it’s a nice place for lunch and a walk.

Great pit stop while traveling from DC to Philly. The fried chicken sandwich was the juiciest I think I’ve ever had. It wasn’t the most flavorful chicken I’ve ever had but it was still really good after a long drive.
The bathrooms are stocked and pretty clean. Staff is friendly and gives good customer service.
Lots of great Classics on the menu I’d love to try next time I drive through the area.

The Salty Cow is a hidden gem located in the middle of nowhere on a side road off of Rte 202 in West Chester, but worth the find! My husband & I wanted a good milkshake, which is how I found this place when searching restaurants in the area. Based off of pictures and reviews we decided to check it out and it sure was worth it. The staff was friendly. The place was very clean. We ordered the Pub-style burger (special sauce on it is amazing), truffle fries (yummy), and milkshakes…everything was delicious !!! Their ice cream is homemade and our milkshakes were oh so good! I hade the cookies & cream. My hubby had mint cookie chocolate chip. Definitely visiting this place again…you should too!!!!

Take out for white pizza and burgers. The pizza looked great, but tasted bland and oily. Very little ricotta. Burgers were good but salty.

Sort of a fast food pizza and sandwich place with Ice cream and milk shakes. The Pizza was OK. The tables were a little sticky from the ice cream drips. There is no table service (other than they will deliver whatever you ordered).
