We visited Falls Family Restaurant for the first time this past Sunday because we wanted to try somewhere new. The restaurant was steady, but we only had a minimal wait, which was nice.
Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, when my plate was brought to the table, there was a visible hair on it. Our waitress handled it quickly and took the plate back to the kitchen right away. It was clear they made a fresh plate of food, which I appreciated.
As for the food itself the wedding soup was delicious and definitely a highlight. The fried potatoes were a bit bland and could have used more seasoning, and the fish was decent overall.
It wasn’t a terrible experience, but there were a few hiccups. With some attention to detail, it could be a much better one.

We come here every weekend for breakfast and they do a really good job with it. Lunch is another story. We tried for the first time today. My husband got a BLT which we paid $10 for. It was the smallest BLT I’ve ever seen with a small side of Lays chips. To substitute for fries would have been $4.50. The mayo was drowning the sandwich and the bread was soggy. I got a tuna sandwich. There wasn’t much tuna on it. The whole meal was $35 after tip for subpar sandwiches. We’re going to go back to Katherine’s in Middleburg Heights for lunches. At Katherine’s you get a massive tuna sandwich and a huge plate of fries and cole slaw and a pickle for the same price. It’s a bummer.

This is a little restaurant in Downtown, Olmsted Falls. The surrounding area is very quaint and cozy. The restaurant is cute. It is a bit outdated and worn out looking. The carpet needed a good vacuuming. My egg was not cooked well enough and was too runny. My blueberry crepes tasted very good and were tender, but they were colder than room temperature, as was my egg. The service was friendly and very polite.

Great place to get lunch. The turkey Club was very good and loaded with turkey meat. Service was outstanding and quick. The food and service was top notch. Definitely would recommend and come back to try more items from the menu. Also has an old historical landmark in the rear wich was called Damp’s Mill. Pretty cool to check out.

Insanely disappointed in my experience at Falls Family Restaurant. My girlfriend had old floating food in her coffee and our server was so frazzled that I just had to take it up to the counter to get her another cup. Pretty gross, but we both understood that it was a busy day so we were at least going to give them another chance.

Then we get our food. My meal was fine. I ordered a Greek omelet and it was totally passable. It was cooked correctly and tasted as a gyro omelet should. However, my girlfriend ordered the meatloaf dinner and it wasn’t up to par. It tasted like it was out of a box or a frozen meal. Her mashed potatoes were cold and the gravy was average but unsalted. She also received a side of carrots that were ice cold and had another customer’s old lipstick on the plate. Once she noticed the dirty plate, she was over the entire experience. We told a server about the dirty plate and weren’t offered any sort of refund. We were offered a new serving of carrots, but she didn’t want cold carrots either way. At this point, we were both pretty livid and just wanted to leave, but had to wait approximately 25 minutes to get our bill after finishing our food.

We won’t be back. I cannot recommend this place, even for a cheap meal. My food was average and hers was far below that. The plates and cups were dirty and definitely not properly cleaned. Absolutely disgusting and very disappointing.

Was out and about today exploring the general Olmsted falls area and wanted to stop for a quick lunch. We stumbled upon the Falls family restaurant as we walked the main strip.

Went in, was greeted right away and sat quickly. The menu has a great mix of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits and my wife ordered the meatloaf sandwich with chips.

The meatloaf sandwich was very good. Great blend of what tastes like sausage and ground beef in the mix. The bread was grilled perfectly and the whole sandwich came together well.

The sausage gravy and biscuits was decent but was a little light on the sausage side of things. Biscuits were okay but not the best I have had. Home fries were great, especially mixed with the sausage gravy.

Great family diner style restaurant and would visit again and try more from the menu.
