Update: wonderful Good Friday lunch with wife and son3. Lovely talk with Jeff (owner) about life and city. The food was awesome. Loved the $5 lunch offer! Great GF options too! Note the great cheese stretch!
Had lunch here with son #3. He did a high-school project in marketing with the owner. Mmm great stuff. Had the cod pub sandwich with tots as side.
My son had gluten free burger. We were both excited about the number of pickles! Plus it was really great tasting! Wow they even toasted the buns (see picture). Just right thx!

What a surprise! We came for a small family gathering for lunch in the separate dining room. The owner came in to visit with us and give his condolences. The service was great and the food was wonderful. Amber was a great server. Very attentive and patient with us. The chicken salad salad was really good. It was full of cranberries and pecans. House made ranch dressing tastes great. Most of their foods are prepared in house. Everyone loved their meals. We’ll have to come back the next time we’re in town visiting family. Check it out.

We had really great Angus burgers and fries.
Waitress was nice but seemed a little inexperienced.
She was slow to return to check on us. Had to ask for more water and she never brought extra napkins we asked for.
We liked the place enough to come back.

We had a great experience at The Pines. The wait staff was amazing, and the chef came out to check on us as well. The food was really good. Absolutely zero complaints. The vibe was fun. There are several tv’s for watching sports. We will return to try the pizza and wings.

I went here while visiting family in CR. We had the bacon cheeseburger pizza, which was delicious. There were a few other interesting specialty pizzas, such as Crab Rangoon, on the menu. Our waitress, a taller, younger woman with dark hair (sorry I didn’t catch her name), was very nice. The football fans in the main dining area were loud, but we were seated in the back room near the patio, where that was not quite so distracting (and we could still watch the game).

Got the calzone and it had mushrooms. I asked for onions not mushroom. The mushrooms smelled and tasted funny. The service was ok but didn’t check in after the food was delivered and never checked on refills of water or Pepsi. The marinara sauce was paste and hard to dip. The chili cheeseburger was good but well done. I asked for medium well. Not really impressed.

We had a late lunch and the place was pretty much to ourselves. The food however, was excellent, which you could definitely tell was made in house. The pepper, slaw and chicken salad was amazing. The staff was very friendly. Overall I would eat here again.

I thought we would try something new to us, since I always eat the same places. We started with pepperjack wontons and cheese curds for appetizers and followed it with an awesome pizza and zookie! My fuzzy naval was good too! Welcoming atmosphere, great food and the staff was fabulous too. The new owner came out and talked to us for several minutes, and he was super inviting. Sorry, forgot his name! This place is right across from Twin Pines golf course and has changed names and owners a few times. Be sure to go try The Pines out so they stick around! Great local option, in that area!

We gathered to celebrate my twins’ birthday. We were seated in a seperate area, which was absolutely fine. BUT, after 32 minutes of no attention from any server, we asked at the bar if there was someone that was planning on taking our beverage or appetizer order. The bartender was apologetic and assured us that someone would be with us soon. 10 minutes more and the children were getting antsy, so we decided our only option was to leave. What a shame. I hear the food is good, but I may never know.
