By far the best tasting Chinese Food in Kingsbridge / Riverdale area of the Bronx! The General Tso chicken is always perfectly cooked and the meat is big. Never over cooked chewy like some other spots around here. The sauce is darker and full of flavor, and what’s most awesome is they are never cheap with the broccoli. Try for yourself and you’ll be addicted like me

This might sound crazy but for the past few months my family and I have been getting stomach aches after eating from here. Their chicken is always chewy. Also someone always seems to be there working in the dark on Mondays when they are closed. Questionable and disappointing.

One of my friends recommended this place to me and told me I was not going to be disappointed. My goodness was he right, this has got to be one of, if not the best Chinese food I have tasted in a very long time. The pork fried rice with the boneless ribs was so good that I was craving for more the next day but since I live a distance from there I just thought I wait it out until I go to Broadway again. People won’t be disappointed when they try it out….5 Stars for sure

After trying out different Chinese food spots around the neighborhood, this is my go to spot. Prices are reasonable, the amount served is reasonable and quality is superb.
Most importantly they listen to accommodations.

Loved this place since I was a kid. My mother used to order this on Thursdays or Fridays when she didn’t want to cook after a weeks work. Great chicken anything, great aroma and love the shrimp and lobster sauce or anything with garlic sauce. Can’t vouch for pork. I don’t eat it.

Food taste great and they prepare my boneless spare ribs they way I like it (well done). However, the delivery person is problematic; he doesn’t wait for a tip, he demands one. And when he does that, he behaves in a rude manner. His behavior does not reflect well on this business and that will cost them clients and money. I called to complaint about the delivery person and all I got was…”we will tell him to be nice to you next time”. Sorry, but I won’t be ordering from this place anymore, even though their food taste great. Three stars for great food, minus two stars for having a rude and disrespectful delivery man, whose bad behavior is tolerated by Mein Chung Mei Restaurant.
