This place reminds me of some of the stores in rural Wisconsin. It is a deli, liquor store, morning coffee stop, convenience store, currency exchange, gaming/slot store. We were tee for sandwiches, and that is toward the back pst the spot machines. We ordered our sandwiches and then picked out the chips and soda pop from the convenience store options; paid for everything up front. There are around ten tables to sit at in the front of the store. The decr is a convent / liquor store with overhead florescent tube lighting. The tables are along he aisle with antifreeze. The chili was really tomato forward with a good bit of chili powder but not much if any beef. The sandwiches were good . I had the Roast Beef Supreme, it had shredded iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise sauce on fresh Italian bread. It was pretty good – FYI, the large is a foot-long ad a serious amount of food. Mom lies her BLT, but the break out star was the Authentic Italian. It has prosciutto, capicola, Genoa Salami, and Provolone cheese in Italian dressing with shredded iceberg lettuce and tomatoes on Italian bread. There is outdoor seating in nice weather.

Ozzy’s Deli is absolutely a standout—hands down the best spot for sandwiches in the Northlake, Melrose Park, and Franklin Park area. I’m not exaggerating when I say I would die on my grave defending that statement. Every sandwich is made with care, packed with fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced in flavor.

I haven’t been here in years as I moved away. This place was my go to and when I came back to vacation I stopped in for a sub. Still the same as I remembered. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Got the American and it just tased as fresh and good as I remember. Great sandwiches! Good service and nice people as always.

Faldo advertising on prices and hours. Menu prices are NOT accurate and don’t reflect true experience you’ll have. Something priced $9 will be $16 total with no modifications! Decent place but there’s better out there! They must do better. You’ve been warned!!!

Ozzie’s has been around ever since I can remember having grown up 2 blocks away. They make solid sub sandwiches, the Italian is great. I don’t think I’ve ever had one of their hot sandwiches but I got my husband a Reuben from Ozzie’s and he said it was really good. I can only personally speak of the Italian and American subs, which are both great.
I took a star off because I’m not a fan of the slots area in the store. However it seemed pretty popular so if you’re into that kind of thing, their machines may pay well being such a decent crowd in there on a Wednesday night at 11pm. I also bought a bag of chips that ended up being expired. Truth be told, none of that would prevent me from returning. Mistakes happen and of I could make money off a slots area, I’d have slots in my store too (I should probably buy a store first though!)

Had to go to CP close by so i stopped to get something to eat. Never been here before but it smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. The service was fenomenal. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It was a great sandwich, not the best I’ve had but one to definitely get again.
