Nice place. They took a little while to wait on us but when they did, the service was fast. I ordered the fish(haddock) and chips, came with a salad. Chris ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, garlic toast and came with a salad. Food was good and the people were friendly.

In town for a vacation to visit my parents. They recommended Junior and Rosie’s for dinner.
We waited almost 20 minutes from when we sat down just to get a waitress to take our order. We waited another 55 minutes to get our food. While still waiting, I approached the hostess stand to inquire as to the delay. I was told a manager would be over to talk with us. When our food finally did arrive, the disappointment was palpable. My elderly father ordered the featured grouper DINNER SPECIAL. After 75 minutes of hungry anticipation, they served him 4 tiny grouper “bites” and a tiny sweet potatoe the size of two walnuts. For $20???
My sister and I were trying to offer him portions of our food just to ensure he had enough to eat. . Our vegetables were terribly over cooked mush and yet completely cold. My mom ordered liver and onions. They actually placed a plate in front of her with almost completely raw onions. . My mom, who never complains about anything in a restaurant, got up the nerve to ask them to cook the onions…. At least a little. The manager grudgingly agreed. Brought back a bunch of charred black –but still undercooked onions.
This was an abysmal experience start to finish. Service was horrible. Food was beyond disappointing. Concerns/ complaints not properly addressed. I will not be back….

We were there for a late lunch. Prompt service. The server was friendly and attentive. We ordered a fish sandwich which was a very generous serving and a chicken sandwich. Served with fries, which were some of the best we have had. The prices were reasonable. A pleasant locally owned restaurant for casual meals.

This might be our new favorite spot! First time checking it out and we fell in love. You step inside to a cute, quaint hometown dinner feel. Staff was prompt and courteous. The food was so flavorful and tender!!! Was so delicious we dug in before I could take my pictures!! My husband got the jambalaya and I got the roast beef dinner.

Food and service really good. Would b 4 stars overall if I didn’t get a $3 surcharge for my Tacos. 1$ each for tomatoes, lettuce and cheese which they neglected to inform me about. Never paid extra for this on tacos anywhere. Just noticed when paying the bill. Surprise!

Super happy they opened a second location at the old Good Time Charlie’s. Plenty of parking and an extra field next-door for even more parking. Soft opening was on Christmas Eve and every day I’ve driven by since they’ve been packed. We love supporting local businesses and this place is awesome. Had breakfast today with my daughter, very inexpensive menu lots of choices, clean restaurant, and they renovated the old place. Our food was out within less than five minutes. Definitely will go back. They serve three meals a day, and great staff friendly people will be back. Let’s blow this place up Big Time making them the breakfast spot of Englewood, Port Charlotte Venice, and Northport.

Katie took care of us at the bar. From beginning to end, we had a great time. The soups were amazing. The chicken alfredo was perfect and the chicken marsala that the wife had was marvelous. The total bill was affordable and we will return.

Food was average taste but decent in price. Service was horrible. Slow service, our waitress never checked on us nor refilled our empty drinks, just hung out at the front counter on her phone until time for the check.

We used to love this place but not so much now. As of our last visit the service was very poor and there were many empty tables. Not to mention we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to greet us. Perhaps there was a lack of employees. The seats were dirty and we had to use our napkins to remove the food so we could sit. While watching the bus person we noticed there was no wiping of the seats nor were any of the tabletop items moved so it could be cleaned. The food was just ok, we had breakfast and the potatoes were really dry and mostly uncooked for home fries, more like warm leftover potato slices, and the coffee was watered down, we actually sent it back, it was as if they made it using the grounds from a prior pot. My breakfast quesadilla was supposed to come with sausage but I could only find two small pieces of it but I did have a few tiny ham chunks which likely came from the omelette my husband ordered.
Given this is high season here I would think there would be more attention paid to service, food prep, cleaning as well as courtesy to the customers.

Friendly owners and staff the home made food is exceptional. Corn beef cabbage looked great didn’t get it today though. 3pm dinner menu and happy hour daily. Fresh fish. Soups yummy
