An amazing Mexican restaurant in Mint Hill. Love this place and go as often as I can. The server Luisa is amazing and always goes and beyond for me and my friends to give us the best dining experience. Food always comes out hot, delicious and best of all, FAST!! Even on a Saturday night when it was busier than usual the food still came out on quick and delicious. 10/10 would recommend if you’re in the area!

Please do not change!! Just left this place after dinner and they deserve more than 5 stars!! Service- 10/5. Very attentive staff. Food – 20/5 stars!! if my “hard to please Mexican fiancee” says a taco is delicious, run to eat there because he is very particular with the tacos. We have been to sooo many Mexican places in Charlotte hoping to find the best food. Here he kept saying; these tacos are good, these tacos are good!! I had a margarita and not only was the presentation super cute but the flavor left me wanting another one. I ordered the Campechano burrito and OMG!! I could taste a blend of spices and exotic flavors bursting in every bite!! I truly enjoyed it!! Atmosphere was nice, welcoming, not too loud. We are coming back for sure!!!

Our family went for lunch on 2/22/26. First of all, don’t go during lunch. Price doubles. Secondly, chips are served cold and salsa is basically tomato sauce. We ordered the chimichunga plate fried, but when I eat a piece it was doughy and appeared to be not fried. I told the manager that I wasn’t satisfied and wanted something else and she said that because I had taken a bite and my wife took a couple of bites to make it work, she could accommodate. We were not trying to get over ; but the meal was terrible. She initially tried to act like everything was OK even though I expressed displeasure with the meal. At this point we just wanted to leave. We want be commiing back. If you want good Mexican food with good service there are several in the area that will put this place to shame.

Had an amazing date night here a few weeks ago, and the food was absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed the chicken burrito, chicken fajitas that came sizzling to the table, and fresh guacamole – everything was delicious. We’re already looking forward to our next date night here next month. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is both friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious dining experience!

Visited a couple of times to support a local business. The food was decent, but not anything that stood out. The sauces and a few salsas were good.
I personally prefer Izcali in Mint Hill, as I feel their presentation, portion size, and overall quality are better. The space here is quite compact, which may not be ideal for families with kids.
After giving it two tries, it just wasn’t the right fit for me.

Came for a dinner for four. Service was very nice; attentive servers and quick responses.
The food was delicious. Good flavor, came out hot, and they were on top of modifications.
Only gripe, when packed it gets really hot in the restaurant.
Would return.

Coco in Mint Hill where Big Guys pizza used to be.
The interior is really cool, we ate early as in 11am and people were already eating.
The service was great, food was fresh and good. Portions were fair as was the price.
Might try a few other dishes in the future.
The wings were on the small side and bit overcooked. Loved the shrimp and the pork tacos. We tried the ground beef, shredded chicken, chorizo soft tacos.
Flavor was good but a tad dry, was missing diced tomatoes on the tacos. Should have added guac to tacos but we wolfed it down! The guacamole was AMAZING!
Steak was decent, same with the rice and beans. Really nice staff so will try a few other dishes. Really enjoyed the mild salsa, we polished it and the chips off as well.
My favorite is still Monterrey on 74 (cannot beat the portions, prices, flavors)! But I want to try the empanadas at Coco and more pork tacos.

We were so excited to go. The place had a nice ambiance with vibrant colors. My food was actually pretty good. However, as you can see in the pictures, both lemon slices had knats on them and when my husband got his food, it had a piece of hair mixed in it. We sent it back still being cordial since this is a new place, but there was no urgency, no manager came to apologize or anything. Just an ‘oops’. Customer service goes a long way. I do not see us going back.

Went there for lunch today. I enjoyed the atmosphere, it was very nice. The staff was great. And the food was fresh and tasty. Also, I found the prices to be reasonable. Update, went back yesterday, June 30th with family. This time I have the traditional tacos, one shrimp and one chicken supreme. I was happy with my choice. This time, it was for dinner. They were a little busier than when I went for lunch the other day. I felt that our waitresses could have come back to our table to check on us a few more times, otherwise I felt that it was a good experience.

What a sad day. We have been coming here for the best margaritas in the Charlotte area…. certainly in Mint Hill. Sat at the bar per usual attempted to order our drinks. It took 3 times to explain strawberry margarita and watermelon margarita. Somehow that turned into two different sized drinks then through all the confusion we found out the strawberry margarita we were handed was organic (and also costs $4 more). This is not what we ordered. When we said that (after the sip that revealed it was organic… tasted horrible.). The manager told us because it was already made, we owned it. We wanted a strawberry margarita similar to the watermelon we keep coming back for, we didn’t think it would be a difficult ordeal. We just wanted what we ordered. I realize it was a significant break down in communication but sticking us with the drink instead of just remaking it and owning your mistake is not the way.
We paid and left our two full drinks behind. We should have just walked out, but I don’t make a habit of screwing people over and at least one party needed to do the right thing. Just a shame you couldn’t.
So for all those reading, if you visit here, make sure they 100% have your order right, or they will make you pay for it even if they were the ones that’s screwed up.
The manager should be fired. If the manager is the ower, shame on you.
