Love this microbakery! Their cookies and desserts are always super creative and well-thought out flavors. Their yuzu earl grey cookie is my usual favorite but the pineapple pandan cookie really won me over this time around!

Staff is always super courteous and enjoys my splurging, which makes supporting this small business more worth it. I love coming here for a nice little treat every so often

This place is right when you enter through the door.  It has a cute little corner and a beautiful display case.   I wanted to try everything.  The people who work here are super nice and helpful.  The lady took the time to explain to me the flavors of the cookies.  We both shared the idea of how everything ube or cookies and cream can be overrated.

These are the items I ordered:

Sesame rocky road – It was nutty, almost like a peanut butter rocky road

Vietnamese coffee – Delicious and chocolatey.  The coffee flavor is addicting

Strawberry matcha:  First bite and smell you can taste the matcha and the rich earthiness of it.   Then it gets followed by the sweetness and tart of the strawberry

Miso chocolate chip cookie:  I’m not going to lie. I was hesitant about this because of the miso.  After a while, I was talking to the lady who helped me. She explained it wasn’t the thick saltiness kind of flavor from drinking miso soup.  It’s actually really subtle.  It tasted like a salted chocolate chip cookie

Mango passionfruit tiramisu :  First bite felt sweet, next was tart.  I was so amazed by the flavors that I couldn’t stop eating it.  For some reason, I thought it was going to have coffee in it.   When I looked back at the picture, I realized what was going on. The flavors throughout made up the tiramisu.

Matcha tiramisu:  This was silky smooth, and the matcha flavors just popped out at you.  It wasn’t overly strong, but something about it was so comforting.

My favorite was the strawberry matcha cookie and matcha tiramisu.  I surprisingly didn’t think I’d like it this much.   I always tend to favor anything mango or chocolate.

This is one of the few places in a long time,  that I did not share anything from my purchase.  I usually share with my husband or family.   Sharing was not an option.   If you were closer to me, I’d be holding this closer to my heart and not sharing this information. LoL just kidding. This place is a hidden gem, and I recommend everyone to give it a try.

I happened upon this place in the food market at 4th Street.

After sampling the chocolate chip cookie and the brownie…

Well they are the best I’ve had yet.

The chocolate chip cookie is made with miso and the brownie is made with espresso.

The flavors are rich and the added salt on the top of the chocolate chip cookie brings out the incredible flavor blend that they have concocted.

As for the brownie, it is the best I’ve tasted!

UPDATE:

I was in the area for another event and had to drop by.

While they are updating the brownie recipe (sigh), I got a few of their other cookies, including the double chocolate.

Wow!

Best cookies in SoCal!

Found this little bakery inside 4th Street Market, right at the entrance when you walk in. I really like the cookie selection here. So far I’ve tried the Strawberry Matcha, Vietnamese Mocha, and Yuzu cookie and all of them were great.

The mocha one was probably my favorite. The Yuzu is unique, I think there might be some Sichuan pepper or something in there that gives it an interesting twist, definitely worth trying. I also saw after i purchased they have some other desserts in the right display case, I’ll check those out next time.

Service was quick and friendly. I really appreciate the creativity behind their flavors and would stop by again next time I’m in the area.

They probably have the best chocolate chip cookie in OC. I love baked goods so when we were in the area we decided to try this new place in DTSA. Everything was delicious. We espresso loved the cookies and blondie bars.

Found this little gem of a bakery today 6/29/24 while wandering by chance around 4st Market food court in Downtown Santa Ana. They have been open two days. The fruit tarts looked amazing and definitely did not disappoint. I took a blueberry creme tartlet (see pic) to go and just now ate it and was absolutely blown away by the explosion of rich fresh flavors. Seriously Maybe one of the best desserts I’ve ever had . Don’t miss this place when shopping in DTSA . It’s front and center when you first walk into the food court entrance

I love soft and delicious cookies but I’m very picky. I was in the area and giggled cookies and found this place. The customer service was amazing. The staff were so nice and help guided me with the best choice. The cookies were so good, fresh and soft.

Went to this bake shop today and they had a Buy 2 Get 1 deal after 4PM. I got the strawberry milk bun, the kouign amann and a blondie. The strawberry milk bun was super light and fluffy, and the cream wasn’t too sweet which I prefer. There was also a surprise whole strawberry at the center. I wish I bought more of those. I will definitely be coming back to try the garlic bread, which apparently sells out fast. It’s also conveniently next to the boba shop.

This is in a food hall. Plenty of options

This place is pretty amazing. Believe the hype. I didn’t know tiramisu didn’t have to taste like coffee (but they have coffee too)

The ube coconut cookies were my favorite
