What a great addition to Grass Valley! Located next to Cirinos on Main street is this cute little bakery full of bread options. It opens at 9am and there was already a line inside the store!
I bought the classic for 10 bucks and the garlic foccassia for 6 bucks. They were still warm!
They get really busy so come early as they will sell everything pretty quickly! The couple running the business are friendly and efficient! They have specialty bread as well.
Don’t miss this place!!

Delicious classic sour dough bread. Crusty on the outside and heaven on the inside. Was walking by one morning and ten people had queued up already so I just got in line. Loved the community gather of folks chatting, lining up to get their daily fresh bread. I love this place and this town.

You can’t get a better bread in our area hands down. Try the different cinnamon rolls that change weekly or the classic sourdough loafs or creative focaccias! The line is worth it and the locals know who is crowned queen of Sourdough!!

A very good friend introduced me to the amazing peach focaccia.
I made French toast from it and sliced & toasted some with butter and it is phenomenal.
I love the round sourdough loaf that I sliced and served with cheeses and it was fresh and soft and the best real French bread flavor I have ever had.

I couldn’t resist the aged white cheddar and dill sourdough round. It smells wonderful. The bakery was clean with great service. They offer a few types olive oils. Perfect for dipping. The flour used in the bread is sourced from Petaluma.

The two focaccias my kiddo and I picked up were just gorgeous, the woman at the counter was helpful and friendly and the location is great both by convenience and vibes. If they branch out into other types of breads, I’ll eat those too. Love this place.

Great new bakery focused just on bread. Their two-day rise creates a much more gluten friendly product that is gentle on the gut with a flavor that will delight you. They offer a short list variety that will likely mean they can meet the demands of the community without over extending. The focaccia trio lineup always seems to include a sweet option and savory option but sells out quickly on the weekends. The classic sourdough comes both in the round and loaf. They have ube loaves and, I am trying this time, rye loafs, always a special loaf. I have had Gouda, cheese and herbs, and everything. It has all been delicious. The owners and helpers have been nothing but warm and welcoming and always a line when I stop by. It’s not cheap but it is worth it. Just slice it up if you’re not able to eat it in a few days, freeze it and take it out when you need it. Just don’t let this one go to waste. It’s too good.

Stopped by when I was walking around town with my mom. She didn’t think she’d like the Nutella focaccia, so I got some for myself. After I got her to taste it, she insisted that we go back for more! I can’t wait to try more of their bread.
