We offer our clients handmade food, we prepare our own salsas and create our own recipes from scratch, we do not buy anything frozen to prepare our dishes.

A decent place to eat Mexican food despite the poverty that surrounds the area. The taco salad was my favorite. A well balanced bowl of beans, meat, rice, avocado and salad. Their super taco has too much goodness to keep within the confinement of two small tortillas. Satisfied customer.

On 6-8-2023 I visited El Castillito and was fairly surprised. I had no intentions of going out to eat this day but I couldn’t resist the smells of grilled carne, the sounds of metal utensils hitting pans, and the cool breeze from the bay blowing in my face. It felt like being at my grandma’s in San Antonio, Texas. I had to stop and I’m so glad I did! I started with some beans and rice and then I followed with three asada tacos.

When you go, concoct your own version of a salsa and ask for chips. I couldn’t help to make myself an antojito. Oink oink baby!
