I ordered the The Burger Co burger that included 2 patties, cheese, and the works. The patties were very salty and over seasoned, the lettuce was wilted, and there was no Burger Co. sauce on the buns. This was not a good burger. It’s disappointing because I’ve had the burger two times before at Potawatomi and each time was different. The first time, the sandwich was perfect. The service was OK, not pleasant, just OK. The fries were decent too. The 2nd time, the burger was not great. It was salty and not well put together. The fries tasted like they were reheated and they were stale.
During this last visit, the coworkers were inattentive and couldn’t be bothered with confirming my order or being pleasant enough to say hello or give me eye contact. The male and two female workers made me feel like I was bothering them. Like I had the nerve to expect decent customer service. I’m done with them.

This is the perfect place to go if you don’t actually want to eat within an hour of ordering your food and generally wish to feel anxious, upset, and hungry. Looking for an apology or a “Sorry for the wait”? You won’t find that here. The employees at this restaurant do not appear to care one iota about their customers. Manager came to “help” and just stapled receipts to bags. Another person just threw cups on trays. Customers are visibly upset and no one even considers uttering an apology. I have stayed at Potawatomi 10 times in the last 2 years and have made the mistake of eating here every time. This review is not based on one interaction, but a consistent pattern of frustration and disappointment.

You guys need a different system. I get a text saying that my food is done, I walk up to the counter and its not done. Today, when my food was done, the guy was just lining bags up on the counter, not even calling out the order number. After a while, I go up to the counter, there’s 4 orders sitting there. I asked the guy if one of these is #229, he says, hold on a second. Fast forward about 10 minutes, a different guy finally check my number, and guess what? My food was sitting right in front of me on the counter for at least 10 minutes. At $16.50 for a dang cheeseburger, that better be a good burger, which it’s not that great, and the service better be great, which it’s not. You’re lucky I didn’t put 1 star. Update: Came back after eating, fries were disgusting, they weren’t even cooked all the way, seems like they were cooked with about 10 pounds of other fries. My $11.00 cheese curds didn’t come with any ranch…again. like it says it does in the menu. Not a happy customer here, I think I might downgrade from 2 to 1 stars.

I ordered a burger about a year ago when I stayed at the hotel and it took 35 minuted to get my burger. Which was odd because it really wasn’t that busy. I stayed again recently and thought I would give it a try again. This time I waited over 35 minutes and wasn’t even in the mood to eat anymore so I gave up waiting and left. There were alot of other people waiting just as long or longer then me. I’ll never eat there or try to eat there again. I expect alot better service when I pay $17 for a burger.

The burger started off tasting pretty good—until I suddenly felt something that seemed like a hair in my mouth while chewing. As I was swallowing, I realized part of the burger in my throat was attached to it, while I still had food in my mouth. I began choking and had to stick my finger down my throat to pull it out along with the burger. It was mortifying. I’ve never experienced anything like that before, and it’s a feeling I hope I never have again.

I will say that the burger is pretty good and the white cheddar cheese curds were very good. I wish I would have seen that fries come with the burger because I didn’t need them although they were good.

Honestly one of my favorite burgers in Milwaukee, fries are wicked good too. Service on the other hand could be one of the worst in the city; on three occasions now, staff has been eager to make the experience as miserable as possible and I see from other reviews it isn’t just me.

Potowatomi has invested over $100M in a state of the art remodel and every inch of their facilities have never looked more incredible. I’m hopeful that the next round of investments go into a training program to knock the attitude out of the incompetent clowns running the food and beverage operations.

Burger was dry sad cause I use to deliver meat to pritzlaff and they have excellent quality meats, the cook clearly didn’t care about his job or making a quality burger, I stood there and watched him he didn’t let any of the burgers get seared after smashing them then let them over cook. I got a text that my order was done and when I went to the counter I was told I had to wait for my cheese curds, once they were done it still took 5 minutes for me to receive my order. Then when ordering it doesn’t tell you the burger comes with fries so it’s misleading to get you to order a fry separate, or curds that I wouldn’t have got had I known the burger came with fries. $16.50 a burger I don’t even eat McDonald and I think a McDouble would have beat the burger I received from here.

One star is too much. Placed my order, got the text telling me my food is ready sent my wife over to pick it up and they tell her it’s not ready. Gave them 20 more minutes went back to get the food and it’s nowhere to be found the guy goes in the back grabs a couple of already cooked burgers that were sitting for a while throws him back on The griddle and gives me soggy price when we ordered them crispy. Last time we were here took an hour and a half to get a plain cheeseburger because of their incompetence. The manager came out to see why I was upset and when I explain the problem he tried to blame it on me.

I do believe you are completely missing the point you’re still trying to make excuses for why you failed the last two times I’ve eaten at your establishment.

I like many others visit the casino and spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Even if the meal is comped, it is but a small consolation for monies lost. The least you could do rather than saying “we’ll try harder next time*
While at the same time making excuses only is more irritating than ever. The fact that your guy took a krusty Burger out of the back and reheated it and packed it up with some soggy fries is completely inexcusable. Even though I was comped the meal it should have been refunded to my players card for the poor service and the poor food.
The other fact I received the message on my phone saying the food was ready and when my wife went to pick it up she was told it was not ready and the fact that last time I was there I waited an hour and a half for a plain cheeseburger tells me your system is completely broken or your establishment is rife with incompetence.. the fact you are trying to excuse my experience tells me it’s probably both. Incompetent leadership, and maybe the guys are ok but the leader doesn’t have a clue. it’s hard to tell.
Last time I noticed only waited am exceptionally long time but there were at least 10 other people angry because they received text messages and then were told the food was not ready after arrival, and it wasn’t something simple like “waiting for fries” as you tried to tell me was the delay on my order..these people waited another 20-30 minutes after they approached the counter with the text message “your food is ready”.

I am a player at some casinos near my home, and when something goes wrong with the food service heads roll, and I am comped again for the inconvenience. After a long night playing, win, lose or draw the gambling is stressful and a person shouldn’t then have to fight with people from the food court after.

As a patron of your casino,it sure doesn’t make me feel welcome or appreciated.

So I think I would like to hear about a REAL ACTION your management is taking to rather than excuses and “we’ll try harder next time” isn’t very convincing.

I can bet if I came in again, ordered at the kiosk, got the text message saying my food is ready it will happen again or I just won’t even get the text for more than hour. It’s a damned burger joint, if you can’t serve up a burger and fries in 15-20 minutes you need to be in a different business.
