I’m new to The Villages. Met a new friend for breakfast here. I had the cheese omelet with home fries and an English muffins. Delicious and generous portions. Very clean restaurant and nice servers. Went to Perkins a couple weeks ago. Same meal, very small portions and $4 more for the same, but much smaller, meal. Sad.
Darrell’s is now my go to place. I will be back.

Pleasantly surprised by how good my breakfast was. Everything was perfect down to the hash browns that can be tricky. Server was nice and checked in on us often. Diner was decorated cute for Halloween.

I love going to Darrells with my parents when I come to visit however I usually just get toast. I am vegan and it would be wonderful if they offered an avocado toast. There aren’t many vegan choices around the villages so just one added menu item goes a long way!

My Cheesesteak sandwich could have been seasoned a bit better. I added pepper to it and it was fine. Also I asked the server if my bread would be toasted and buttered, she said yes. However, it arrived at my table without butter. This was a little disappointing since I purposefully asked this up front. She took it to the kitchen and they swiped some room temperature butter on one side of my bread. I wasn’t thrilled but I made this work. Later on, it took her a while to bring our check.

We like Daryl’s. I wish they would have gluten-free toast. It’s one of the simplest things to stock keep it in the freezer till someone wants it Thank goodness for reveolis cuz we all know we lost Willie Jews. They don’t have gluten free anymore. No more french fries and I’m not sure about the meat. They change it with no notice and if you’ve eaten it like me you know were paying the price for the next week and a half
