First time eating here since they reopened a month or so ago. The food was truly excellent, from the apetizer to dessert. I had the meatloaf and loved it. The waitress was kind, attentive & patient. We were a party of 8 and not the easiest table to deal with, but all of the refills were served in a timely manner and the food came out all at the same time. I would recommend it for larger and smaller groups.

Very, very nice restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and very patient with us old people. My friend is very hard to understand at times and talks very quietly. She didn’t get frustrated with him.
The ambiance was quite quaint and made us feel warm even though it was only 25° outside.
Our food was outstanding. My steak was done perfectly. The presentation was very eye peeling.

Came for the ghosts, stayed for the food and so should you. We sat in the Tavern section so the Mains are not available for lunch.
We shared a sweet potato Gnocchi appetizer in a cream sauce that was amazing!!!
Hubs had the smash burger and I had the Voodoo Burger medium rare. The house chips are wow. Sooo good. My burger was done to perfection and juicy with a nicely seared outside. Hubs Smash Burger was quite tasty.
We both enjoyed a Franziskaner Weissbier. We then shard an EggNOGGin’ and a Banana Bread Old Fashioned. I highly recommend the EggNOGGin. It was so good I literally sucked it down. Hubs really liked the Old Fashioned but I am not a fan of Whiskey.
So stop by, say hi and enjoy some good, hearty food and a few drinks. Just do not drive impaired. Thank you.

Our first time dining with the new ownership. My husband ordered the short ribs and they were excellent. I ordered the crab cake and was not impressed. My Godmother is from Baltimore and so I am spoiled with “Maryland crab cake” recipes. I like a jumbo lump crab cake with old bay………so now I know to not order the crab cake at this establishment. Will definitely give it another try and order something else.

Our experience started out rocky with no one coming to take our drink orders for 20-30 minutes however as soon as someone at our table spoke up to the staff, it quickly turned around. Travis went truly above and beyond to make it an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. We ordered a range of entrees and they were all absolutely delicious. We appreciate the staff at the Franklin House making things right and giving us a spectacular dining experience! Shout-out again to Travis for taking such good care of us!

Loved the sweet potato gnocchi with goat cheese sauce and added blackened chicken on top. It’s on the app part of the menu but the single portion was plenty of food for a meal. I hate straight goat cheese but the sauce was the perfect compliment to the other items and it was so delicious I mopped some up with every bite! We also shared the tomato bisque which was so tasty without being too sweet. Highly recommend both!

This place is a hidden jem!! All the food was done to perfection! The service was outstanding and the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. Jordan, our server, went above and beyond to accommodate my party. George, the chef, personally made a burger of the month for my guest, who has celiac disease. It was amazing. I could fill an entire page with great things to say about this restaurant. It’s simply the best and I will be back!!
