First time customer and the place was full with a line to order besides! However it went fairly quickly, and once served a small table had emptied so I could stay and enjoy my coffee and muffin. Blueberry muffin was very good, dense like a coffee cake, latte also very good, and I bought an everything bagel kolachi for later. Service friendly and efficient, plenty of parking. Recommend.

Lucky Goat is hands-down the best coffee spot I’ve ever visited. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm, rich aroma of freshly roasted beans—it’s clear they take their craft seriously. To me, their coffee is chocolatey, perfectly balanced with low acidity, and subtly spicy. I think every cup feels like having a warm blanket wrapped around you. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you slow down and appreciate the moment... and we all need more of that in our busy lives.
The staff here is equally remarkable: friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. They’re happy to chat about their beans, recommend a brew method, or help you discover a new favorite roast. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.
If you love coffee that’s expertly roasted, full of character, and brewed with care, Lucky Goat is an absolute must-visit. It’s not just coffee—it’s an experience worth savoring every time. To the team at Lucky Goat, I’m so glad you’ve made it out to JAX.

I’m absolutely obsessed with Lucky Goat after having snagged a bag of ‘Southern Pecan’ at the Publix Local section, and was even more ecstatic to learn there is a brick and mortar shop! We even made a special stop today to bring our out of state friend here before her evening flight! A good majority of the staff we have encountered have been super friendly and helpful. Shout-out to Robbie and Xavier for killing it at the counter today, it was busy!!! Not only did they effectively manage the crowd, they still took time today to explain the differences between the flavors and why they mostly carry ground vs. whole beans…super awesome & friendly customer service experience today! Highly recommend checking this shop out or even grabbing a bag to take home, you won’t regret it!

I was so thrilled to hear that Lucky Goat is back in Jax so I stopped by. They’re open until 7 pm on weekdays and 6 pm on weekends, which is perfect for me since I love grabbing coffee after 5 pm. I got a cappuccino (6 oz) and it was a strong coffee with a nice silky foam. It’s definitely not the same as an authentic Italian cappuccino, but I’m not complaining because I love strong espresso drinks.
They are also using great quality matcha for matcha latte ( not the mix powder)
I’m so glad that one of my favorite coffee shops is back in Jax! They have an outdoor patio with plenty of tables and chairs, so you can work or study there. The staff was friendly, which was a plus.
You can also try some delicious treats from @b.the.bakery.jax and the famous Filipino bakery @thebakersonusa in town. I cant wait to try them when I come back!

For me Lucky Goat is one of the best if not the best coffee places not only around Jacksonville, but around the world!
Atmosphere is very nice, it’s not overly loud or quite, they always have nice music playing.
Service is amazing, people who work there are very nice and kind.

As a Jax local, I’m always looking for good coffee spots. Lucky Goat’s Deerwood location has quickly become one of my favorites. It sits right off Deerwood Park Blvd and feels super convenient if you’re near St. Johns Town Center.
The space is clean and modern with plenty of seating. It works well for working, studying, or just relaxing. The outdoor patio is a nice touch on cooler days.
Their coffee is really good. They roast their own beans, and it makes a difference.
The staff is friendly and quick, even when the place gets busy. Parking is easy, and the shop always feels clean.
If you’re in the Southside and want high-quality local coffee, stop by. I’ll be back soon.

Does ANY shop in Jax have tasty regular coffee?
Came here for a renowned latte as people are bragging in reviews. Their machine was not working, so I got regular drip coffee. It tastes better than burnt Starbucks regular but nothing special. Two stars .
Service : descent, I’ve seen better
Atmosphere : cozy, nice, better than loud Starbucks
Coffee ☕️: regular coffee is Dunkin or Panera quality for more money.
I hope their lattes are better than other’s.

Excellent drip coffee! I am dairy-free and didn’t see any food I could have so I can’t vouch for it. But it’s hard to find good drip coffee these days sadly. Lucky Goat is definitely the best straight coffee I’ve had out in a long time!

The coffee is really good here. I had the house drip coffee and it was well-balanced and smooth. Service was okay, pretty nondescript. The atmosphere is a cookie cutter atmosphere of most modern coffee shops. Not really conducive to hanging out or conversation but kind of sterile and bland. How long for a coffee shop that is comfortable to sit in and not overwhelming with noise and clatter.

My new favorite spot! I absolutely love this coffee shop! The staff was so friendly and welcoming—it really makes a difference. I highly recommend trying the Luckybomb—it’s so yummy! The Ube coffee cake is a must-try too. My family coffee aficionado loves their single origin Ethiopian coffee—so smooth and flavorful.
The outdoor patio is perfect for hanging out, especially with your pups. Lots of shade with umbrellas and a great vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a chill afternoon, this place has it all. Highly recommend!
