The prices were decent. I orderd frog legs, catfish strips, and shrimp. The staff was great. Everything was cooked well but there wasn’t much flavor, good thing the hot sauce is good. The sitting area could use bigger tables, but I guess its not a sit down place anyway.

Firstly, the cashier Kylan was fabulous. His customer service was immaculate; he took time to explain the menu and was very respectful. The food on the other hand, left much to be desired. The food was fresh and the fries were seasoned to perfection. The catfish strips were not seasoned well, and because of the different sizes of the strips; some were cooked well while the thicker pieces were not. The hot sauce is trash. The perch was okay and the large shrimp were okay too. For the price, the food needs to be better. It’s kinda sad to be a seafood place and the best thing on the menu are fries.

I seldom leave reviews on Google but I couldn’t let this go! Visited the Olympia Fields location this evening 2/19. No customers or staff in site when I walked in. A guy emerges from the back slowly walks up and said nothing. Just looked at me. I said hello…he mumbled hello. No welcome how can I help you or anything. I said give me sec let me check out the menu. This guy didn’t say one word simple turn around and went to the back and was never to be seen again so I left. I’m not sure who owns this Lawrence’s but if they are aware of this behavior and do nothing about it , I understand why the place was empty! I don’t care how much I like the food or not I will NEVER give anyone my hard earned money that is this disrespectful! Next time I have a craving for Lawrence’s, I’ll just head on down to Canal street! At least they welcome you.!! So I’ll take a que from him and never return again!

I remember the old Lawrence location and I was excited to see one in my area. I would say DO NOT GO THERE I ordered whole catfish and okra. The catfish was little and had an old fishy taste. The okra was good no seasoning. Not a problem because some people might want some salt. The catfish was standing straight up in a paper bag. I will not go back. I should have checked out the reviews from other customers..

Frozen food and prepackaged sauces ♀️. Bland and tasteless unless you use the sauce. Quality of the food could be better especially for the price paid and portion. Better off going elsewhere!!
Update: I ended up getting food poisoning from here. Save yourself some money and the trip!

Ordered 6 wings and vegan shrimp. It was ok but the portions were tiny and didn’t come with fries. This was ridiculous because the order total was $38 love supporting but please improve…..that was literally a rip off!!!!!!!!! The photo depicts the actual amount if food received. We ordered a large catfish strips & a reg wing zing added the pip & fries. The food didn’t taste like it did the last time we ate there, which was weird. But in the wee hrs of the morning I was sick stomach craps & vomiting I’ll stick to the Lawrence’s in the city!
