The wings are made fresh and hot which i appreciate (so expect to wait about 15 min for your order ro be ready) . There is plenty of outside and inside seating. And outside seating has overhead heaters! As for parking i did come during the week and was able to fund parking pretty easily bit i can see it can become difficult during weekends. I also have to mention that customer service is 10/10. I would definitely recommend my freinds to come try this place!
They use a separate fryer for vegan orders and as someone who loves spicier options, the Tamarindo BBQ was incredible, and the hottest Cuete was truly spectacular, they did habaneros the justice they deserve, so flavorful. It goes in order from most mild to spiciest
Cuete was decently spicy and had great flavor. Can’t wait to try the other ones.
Service was super friendly too. Great addition to Breakside foodcarts!
They also have vegan options such as cauliflower (my fave is with the El Valiente sauce) and also jackfruit wings. Im not vegan, but sometimes you just need a break from meat and poultry, and let me tell ya, the vegan wings are on point I appreciate that they make the vegan wings from scratch rather than using the store bought soy wings.
Favorite must try sauces:
– honey pequin
-Cilantro lime chimichurri
-Arbol
-el valiente
-milanesa
The jicama on the side pairs lovely with the wings, too
Anyway, we all have bad days so that alone isn’t enough to warrant a review.
Fortunately my order was ready in 30 minutes, not 40. Unfortunately my nuggets were barely above room temp and were soggy. The potato weggie was too hot to eat and a far, far cry from Tito’s Papasotas – I think we know why my chicken was cold. Finally, the chicken wings I ordered were the fattiest cuts of drumstick I’ve ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth. They were underseasoned, but the sauce toss can usually cover the gap; half of the drumstick being inedible is an uncoverable gap.
There is no shortage of places to spend my money.
