I hadn’t eaten at Domino’s in years, but having moved to Ventura County I found that people here don’t seem to know anything about pizza, or think that pizza is such a great delicacy that you need to pay over $25 for it. The service was excellent and the staff all looked adorable in their clean In N’ Out-style uniforms. The texture of my NY style pizza was also very good. Higher end pizzerias in the area seem to think pizza dough is meant to turn into a quiche crust or dried out tortilla. Most of the time the pizzas in this area have toppings that are flavorless, so they just throw hot spices on it to mask the cheapness of their toppings (eg. Pizza Twist). If you’re going to pay for flavorless toppings, why not save money and buy Domino’s? I did find, unfortunately, that Domino’s pizza still smells disgusting and their tomato sauce still tastes like dog vomit…but at least it has a recognizable flavor other than just “mild” or “hot”. I’m giving it 4/5 stars for the general Oxnard area for its value, and for successfully navigating a very basic understanding of what pizza crust is. I’d give it 1.5/5 for pizzas I’ve had throughout the world.

Should teach George not to literally toss your customers food on the floor when getting their change. This stores drivers are constantly rude or seem unhappy. Sorry $4 and change wasn’t enough for driving 6 minutes down the road. Kids these days man. So disrespectful. Work a construction job and you’ll see how easy you have it at your little pizza one.

Asked for more cheese and I got less cheese than my other pie ordered with a regular amount (online order so no sense in it being miscommunication) now based on the photo taken a guess which one has “extra cheese” and one with no request on the cheese…

The delivery sucks, you check the app and it says out for delivery ETA 6 minutes but you check the tracker 20 minutes later the driver is still sitting at domino’s.

This experience made the cut for a 5 star. I ordered through the app using the $3 tip they give me every order that I stack on thier coupons. Carry out every time. Dominos is a solid slice and the sandwiches are excellent also. My favorite specialty is the Philly cheese. Dominos Is my current go to spot.

I order delivery several times per month. Pizza is great, delivery however can be a nightmare. If it’s a new driver- forget it. They WILL get lost & never call for help. Cold pizza anyone? Forget it.

Second time I do delivery with 2liter soda purchase and don’t get with my order. Food with no drink. What are your thoughts on that? But they can give you credit if you decide to try and order with them? I’m sure this happens often as this happened to me back to back. Not worth the hassle. Gave it a chance but won’t be giving another.
