Since 2016 Strip’s Chicken has received over a dozen awards including Best Chicken Strips & Tenders in KC, Best Cheap Eats in KC, Best Pork Tenderloin in KC & Best Gluten Free in KC. In addition to an awesome menu featuring over 40 items we make from scratch daily, we also have 9 beers on tap that you can ONLY get at Strip’s along with an awesome selection of craft cocktails. We import Malbec & Rose wine from Argentina’s oldest vineyard, Legarde, made from vines planted in 1906. Our Merriam location features a pool table, 2 free dart boards and an outdoor deck – bring your dog! You know, been here a lot. Had some great GF options for being a company that’s founded Celiac friendly foods. They never come out for curbside pick up. Tonight, we have been back TWICE because the first order was wrong. Now, the “GF” nuggets have fried pickles and jalapeños in there with unknown breading. You can’t get through to anyone when you call. The service here sucks, they don’t care.

First time trying Strips. Has a pretty good selection of entrees. I decided on a pork sandwich and Mac n cheese. The Sandwich was good. The Mac n cheese was awful. My wife loved her Tenderloin sandwich. Very pricey. Cost us $75. No appetizer and only a tea for my wife for 3 people. Service was decent not overwhelming. I would love to try the chicken strips if we go back

Me and my gf sat down looking for something quick and ended up waiting damn near an hour for two chicken sandwiches. There was one other table in the restaurant and the server clearly didn’t care at all. It took him a good 30 mins to even come up to take our order and another 30 mins to come out with the worst fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The workers clearly didn’t care at all and I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here over other options in the area. Bad food, worse service, we won’t be back.

I stopped in to grab a bite to eat. I got the tenderloin sandwich and it was pretty good. I got a beer on tap that was pretty good as well. The only thing I didn’t like about the place was the drink prices. They don’t have any domestic beers and all the craft beer is $7+, with mix drinks being more. Overall, I’ll probably pick up food from here but won’t dine in.

Could be much better but some serious issues. Beer selection is good, food choices are completely inline with what you should expect.
1. Understaffed (people were leaving after sitting there way too long without even getting drink orders.) You can’t have 20 tables and a bar with one person working front of house. Ownership issue.
2. 2 of us ordered the same beer but we got one of them and then a different beer because the keg went empty. Rather than just bringing a different beer maybe ask.
3. I did not get what I ordered and instead of fixing it I was brought sauces to put on it.
I picked the place for a group of 6. I usually get credit for finding great places and usually we end up going back, but I am pretty sure this is the last time I will go to one of these places.

They have gluten free buns along with options to lettuce wrap their sandwiches.
Many menu items can be made gluten free. They have gluten free onion straws which is what I come back for. My wife commented that the chicken was moist and tender.

Very sad to see this place go down hill. First, deals were removed, multiple incorrect orders have been delivered and now we got cold food, over cooked, dry chicken and half cooked pasta. This used to be our favorite spot, but they have lost a customer and I will no longer recommend this establishment. Sonic is down the street with comparable food plus accurate service with hot food.

So….I decided to stop at this location because it’s closer to home than the Olathe location. Nice little location on the corner. It was inviting from the outside and even on the inside.
The server was very friendly.
I am giving a low score because of PRICE. I first asked for the five piece combo which comes with five chicken strips and a side. I wanted the white chicken chili smashes. That rang up to $16 and some change so that was a no. So I was like give me my usual the three strips combo and smashed potatoes and I only asked for the smashed because I was told the premium white chicken chili was higher. I STILL paid $10 and some change. I will gladly continue to drive to Olathe and save $3. In Olathe it’s rang up as a combo but at this location it’s priced separately. As a combo!! Yikes
I even viewed the online menu to be sure they had those potatoes. I obviously didn’t read correctly.
Oh….and I have never had a bone in my chicken strip.

The food is delicious. I love a chicken strip that has more meat than breading. These also have the right balance of seasoning! Love the house sauce as well. Moreover, this business is active member of their community and puts profits before people. I stopped in today and to my surprise they were hosting a free buffet for anyone that might be impacted by the government shut down and had been doing so all month. As a fellow small business owner, we will choose this company every chance we get to treat clients and community partners of AMADA Senior Care Overland Park. Thanks for great food, great leadership, and great compassion for others!
