I absolutely love the tacos here! I got mine from the purple truck parked right outside their restaurant. The flavor was amazing—definitely recommend!
Janeth was the sweetest. I wasn’t planning on getting a drink, but she gave me a Jamaica (I hope I’m spelling that right) for free! I posted a photo below. It was so good—not too sweet, just perfect. Kind of like a refreshing hibiscus tea.
Overall, this is such a great spot for a quick summer lunch. I loved the food, the service, and the whole vibe of the area. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their drinks and food!

Always go here for the birria quesadilla and today they gave me something ive never seen before …so unhappy the quesadilla had no birria consome and was a mess of cheese and sour cream instead, this is definitely not worth $13 and ill be going to the jarochita next time or the other location on centreville road

The piña colada and Cadillac marg were great. The Steak Ranchero was amazing! The quesadllia al pastor was delicious! Our server Bori was fantastic! Overall we had a great experience and can’t wait to go back!

Went to Chofita/ El Tolteca in Manassas, VA for lunch today. What a mixed bag. Some food was good while others like my carnitas were so bad. They served me hard chunks of fat and when my husband said something to the manager he started explaining to us that’s how it’s supposed to be. My chef husband remained silent and asked him to remove that from the bill. While I was still eating the rice and beans he took my plate. Later when we received the bill we were charged for the rice and beans. Ridiculous! I was super disappointed overall. Service was slow, server and manager rude, and just an overall bad experience.

I popped in for authentic tacos, and was not disappointed. I ordered two tacos (one steak and one chicken). They were fresh and filled with flavor. The order came with chips, refried beans, and sauces on the side. The customer service was awesome, and I especially liked the décor.

This is a great Mexican place! The atmosphere is the typical Mexican vibe with a lot of Myan influences. It’s really cute. The food was delicious! They have a good amount of vegeterian options. I got a platter with a bean burrito and cheese enchilada. It also came with rice, as most of their dishes do. It was all very yummy. I especially loved the cheese enchilada. It was made with a queso Blanco, and it had a really good, rich flavor. The rice was seasoned well and paired really nicely with the dish. My boyfriend got the Azteca burrito and said it was very good and the steak in it was cooked very nicely. Warning: If you order beer and the waitress asks if you want a small glass or large, she means a normal sized glass or a pitcher. My dad ended up with a whole lot of beer to drink. The prices were much more reasonable than most of the other Mexican places I’ve seen in the area. And the service was great! Now we know where to go for good Mexican food. We can’t wait to come back and try their fried ice cream!
