Tonight was my 1st time ever ordering from here & I will say if you’re hungry DO NOT COME HERE. I ordered General Tso chicken combination & a 8 piece chicken wing & 2 egg rolls for my Wife & I. Let’s just say THIS PLACE DOES NOT GIVE YOU BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.
Chicken wings were SMALL & egg rolls were tiny, probably the size of chicken tenders. I’m used to GOLDEN WOK’S GREAT PORTION SIZES, GREAT SERVICE. GOLDEN WOK WILL FORVER GET MY BUSINESS. Fortune Cookie needs to follow suit from a well rounded Chinese restaurant like Golden Wok. The only thing Fortune Cookie had going good tonight was the food was hot & fresh. You live & learn but I won’t come back here

Basically what you’d expect from your typical neighbourhood Chinese restaurant.
I bought the approx $11 10 piece butterfly shrimp with fried rice and hot oil.
Rice tastes fairly bland in my opinion, but I like food extra seasoned to take that into consideration.
Hot oil tastes quite underwhelming, but it makes the much rice better so I get it. The butterfly shrimp is fantastic. I also heard good things about their donuts and rolls.
Portion size is very good for the price. Overall I would recommend if you want a cheaper way to eat a lot of food.

Our food order was served promptly and accurately. The wings were good, served in pieces rather than whole wings but tasted good. One of my go-to entrees at takeout Chinese spots is chicken and broccoli. This place did not disappoint, and the beef and broccoli was also good. I’ll have to try something different next visit, since they offer a decent selection of food options. This place is very popular among college students with a food plan for Chinese takeout, which is how I was able to try out their entrees. I’m not sure if the store hours but they seem to be open every day of the week which is very convenient for students needing something quick for lunch or dinner.

The General Tso’s Chicken and Orange Chicken are hands-down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every time. If I could give 0 stars I would lol. First off, they got part of my order wrong .. I ordered kung pao shrimp and they gave me kung pao “chicken.” That’s not even the worse part .. it wasn’t chicken. I bit into it and literally tasted soooo nasty. Then I found a foot of whatever animal in my food. Here’s some photos for proof.. never again

Omg , this food is addictive ! I actually drive all the way from Asheboro to get carry out from this place and sometimes eat in if its not crowded. They even make the fries wontons from scratch and they are huge !!
