The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were very well seasoned.
The decor is typical sports bar with lots of TVs lining the wall. I rather liked the big wall of televisions (check out the photo).
I know I really want to try out the Tuesday special for their Taco Tuesdays. Oh…and their weekend brunch is also on my list to do.
I recommend going to Food + Beer.
Update: Finally tried the PBR fried pickles…amazing! Plus I found out they had a food challenge. I would try it but I dislike the taste of buffalo chicken.
We had such a great time here! The atmosphere was upbeat but still relaxing, perfect for dinner and drinks. Our bartender Frankie made some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time, his Old Fashion and Manhattan were absolutely spot on. You can tell he really knows his craft.
Our server Astrid was amazing, friendly, attentive, and had great timing the whole night. She made sure we were always taken care of without ever feeling rushed.
The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the drinks were perfect. Definitely one of our favorite local spots on Lockwood Ridge. We’ll be back soon!
Seira, our waitress, was excellent. She was quick, friendly and attentive.
A little odd to be a Food + BEER establishment, offering Happy Hour specials, but they limit to only ONE SINGLE BEER–and it wasn’t a great one. Oh well, now we know. Pricing was good, nothing seemed overpriced.
My husband ordered the Redfish Fish and Chips. He said it was very good and that the fries were ‘homemade’ and very good. I opted for the Birria Tacos. They were good, came as an order of three (3). No sides are included with the tacos, so I asked for a bowl of rice. The Birria Tacos were tasty and came with a dipping sauce–However–I really hope they will rethink the styrofoam cup for the dipping sauce. The cup, filled only halfway (which is plenty) is an odd shape for dipping. They could save money by ditching the styrofoam and using a small bowl, like the dish his side of coleslaw came in. It would be less messy and better for the environment. I would not order the Birria Tacos again, if this is the serving dish going forward.
A nice visit, we may try again.
The burger was good and the fries were better.
Service was great.
Fried grouper was amazing, and my bar tender was very sweet. 10/10 will definitely be back.
