We had our Aunt Polly’s 90th birthday celebration here for approximately 20+ friends, family & neighbors. They did an outstanding job accommodating us. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was great and all the servers were very pleasant and helpful. Special shoutout to Lisa for helping us make these arrangements. We couldn’t be more grateful for the AJ Tomaiolo staff for making our special event perfect!

I can’t in good conscience write a negative review.. we came into this spot and it was completely dead. We were the only table eating dinner. We had incredibly polite and conscientious service. The big disconnect, however, was ordering eggplant Parmesan
And not being informed that their preparation of it is not vegetarian ..
Halfway through my meal, I realized what had transpired.. thankfully I wasn’t sick even though I’ve been vegetarian for close to 35 years.. that being said, I would highly recommend if you are vegetarian to ask your server at this specific restaurant ahead of ordering something.. This kind of oversight is really tough to ignore and I will not be returning to eat at this restaurant.
I’m posting this mostly so that no one has this happened to them..

Local italian restaurant with great cocktails and good food. Nothing fancy, just good italian standards. There are some alternatives to pasta, but we wanted to try the lasagna and the eggplant and were happy with our choices. Since we just moved to Northborough, we’ll certainly be back again. Loved my Martini!!

Was referred by a great friend to try out this amazing hidden gem! Located in Northboro, A.J. Tomaiolo’s Restaurant hit all the spots! Looking for some fresh Italian dishes! Homey, delicious and absolutely fresh it was the perfect place for what we were craving! We had ordered the mussels in white wine sauce, a cheese pizza for our daughter, The seafood fra diavolo and the filet mignon with lobster ravioli with a brandy white wine sauce with extra sautéed onions and mushrooms for my wife and I! Everything was absolutely amazing and delicious, prepared fresh and hot! Lisa the Bartender kept coming in and checking on us and greeted us as we were leaving to see how the night ended and Michaela was very attentive, playful with our daughter and helped us every stepped of the dinner! We have our new favorite go-to comfort restaurant! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

Do not rent out their back room. It’s very narrow, and the seating arrangement is terrible if you plan to mingle with the party. Also very cold in the winter, food was ok. Go and see the room before you decide to rent.

Wow. Chicken Parmesan and Meatballs. This was a take out order and the first time here. Outstanding food , highly recommended. Will be back with the family for a sit down meal just to be sure I would have posted photos but unfortunately, the food was too good to pause for photo’s.
