Mcalisters is always a great place to eat. However while in town from east TN I have to say I experienced the best service I have had in a very long time. Danielle was amazing not only was she fast and friendly. She was so kind smile with her heart and made me want to change my order from getting to go to hanging out and eating right there. Danielle thank you for being a light in a world of so much rude and hate. It was truly a breath of fresh air to see such a kind soul. The world needs more people like Danielle. If you are in Millington tn stop in and see her!

My wife and I went to this place for lunch, even though I felt they are very over priced. The service, much like the food, was terrible. It was at least 7-8 minutes before we were acknowledged and we were the only ones in line. The cashier was extremely low energy and had a bitter disposition. My wife ordered a garden fresh turkey sandwich which should have been called a drowned turkey sandwich because it was swimming in oil and vinegar. She only ate the two thin slices of turkey and left the soggy bread on the plate. My culinary nightmare began with a half a French dip and potato soup. The sandwich consisted of a thick dried out piece of bread that was complimented by two paper thin pieces of roast beef which were also dry and tasteless. No cheese ( I guess they forgot). The picture is NOT what they are serving. The soup was so watered down that it tasted like water and sadness. No salt, no flavor and no potato. There were three shards of cheddar and a piece of very old bacon on top, which contributed in no way to the flavor. Not to mention everything arrived at the table ice cold. So after paying 35 dollars to this disgruntled employee we recieved absolutely nothing of value. Save your money and eat somewhere, anywhere else.

The young lady at the front counter displayed horrible customer service. I’m not sure if she didn’t want to be bothered or what it was, but she was very off-putting. No smile, dry verbage, and just an overall subtle rudeness. My order wasn’t ready on time which was fine, but when I received it my club sandwich barely had any meat on it. My chicken salad sandwich was also disappointing as it was very sloppy and had brown lettuce on it. Overall, this experience sucked. I won’t be back for a while because I don’t like being mistreated and served subpar food. In this economy, every business should practice excellence because choosing to eat out is an expense. You all serve sandwiches, soups, and salads- things people can make at home. This wasn’t my first bad experience at this location, but it is the first time I decided to speak up about it. Do better!

I gave them 5 stars just for the service. The young black lady who took our order was so patient as we ordered for our grandchild. She (according to the receipt #38) showed such kindness. The food was good as usual but today the service really stood strong. Great job crew.

The au jus sandwich and a soup is the best warm combo! We accidentally ended up there on a kids eat free day which was lucky. Rather pricey but the food and atmosphere are pretty decent.

I ordered this with my lunch today and I usually have no problems with my orders, but this is disappointing. I ordered the pick 2: Avocado BLT(small half sandwich), and this salad. The top was so pretty and then BAM! Grossness! I would’ve rather been given a heads up and taken the full sandwich than waste the kitchens time making a meal that’s not edible. Still love this place, but you don’t sell food like this.
