Ken, the bartender, made a special impact with his friendly service; chatting with him was a highlight of our visit.
The food was okay overall, but the atmosphere truly stood out.
We enjoyed the beers on tap, and the service was good throughout.
Mediterranean board-5/5(loved it)
Pesto pasta-4/5( bcz it was runny and the basil over powered the pesto sauce)
Veg stir fry with shrimp -1/5( not at all good and it was runny instead of being fried)
Mashed potato with garlic -4.5/5( liked it)
They also host live music and bingo nights, which adds to the fun vibe. A great place to hang out and enjoy the experience.
I ordered the Marry Me Chicken that’s been all over social media, and it did not disappoint. It matched — if not exceeded — all the hype. Perfectly cooked, rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My husband went for the Chicken & Waffles, and let’s just say he destroyed it. Between the maple syrup, hot honey, and maple aioli, it was impossible to pick a favorite. He loved it so much he couldn’t stop raving to the manager, Tyler — whose smile quite literally takes over a room — about his idea for a Chicken & Waffles Benedict.
Our waitress, Melissa, was just as wonderful — patient, friendly, and so attentive. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kevin, who came by to check in. Honestly, I thought he might’ve been coming over because we were talking and laughing so much with the staff (and my husband Brian couldn’t stop high-fiving everyone ), but Kevin was so humble, kind, and genuinely appreciative.
We couldn’t leave without dessert — the Brownie Flight special. Warm brownies (peanut butter chocolate chip, double chocolate, and pumpkin!) topped with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate and caramel… heaven on a plate.
Drinks were on point, too. We both started with a Jack on the rocks and they came out fast — not watered down, thank goodness — and then we each had a Manhattan which were classic perfection, made with rye as they should be.
All around, an amazing experience from start to finish. We will absolutely be back and are so happy to have found another local gem!
Service is top notch, actually the best I’ve had in years-she never rushed me and it was easily the best lunch, so I will be back for dinner . True hidden gem in Ellington.
Due my friends and I like good quality food, I recommend to do our bro time here.
When we arrived were received just by smiles, and an amazing service.
We waited for one of my buddies and I ordered a gin cocktail that was espectacular meanwhile next guy was coming.
Menu is just amazing got on my eyes 3 different things, 1 burger, pasta, and steak and when for the burger due was with jalapeño related, im Mexican so love spice in my life. The food is out of the world, quality, flavor and presentation are in any dish that they serve, after some time, seems that manager/owner approached to ask us how was everything going.
I do recommend this place 100%, I’ll definitely return for happy hour, dinner or date, don’t miss this hidden spot!
I ordered the Vegetable Stir-Fry with chicken, and for dessert, I had a blondie and a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream absolutely delicious!
