Somewhat sparse restaurant and that’s fine, it’s a casual place which is what a poke restaurant should be. There were several drinks available for purchase and I chose simple soda water. Everything was delicious and worth the stop. 5/5 fantastic
The chef/waiter that was preparing my food nose was bleeding. He had one glove one and the bare hand was used to wipe his nose. He proceeded to wipe his nose twice. After he through the bloody paper towel in the trash he used the same bare hand to grab the utensil to scoop the rice for my bowl. Never even attempting to wash his hands. Please keep in mind, all this was done within 2 ft from the open food. I never experienced anything like this and I actually thought I was being punked. So after I looked around and saw that I wasn’t. I quickly canceled my order and politely told him no thank you and that was the most unsanitary and disgusting think I’ve witnessed. I definitely think an inspection is needed here.
Rose milk Boba as a totally different experience …like drinking fine wine… the scent of Rose hits your palate and illuminates your brain!! Love it…
Now back to Poke… It’s a nice little place you can step off highly traffic Lemmon Avenue… you can visit there after dropping off donations at the Genesis shelter and watch the traffic go by as you enjoy a bowl of poke salmon, tuna, cucumber, and Ginger …the smells fill the shop.
I wanted to believe it was just bad luck, but this place really is a dice roll at this point.
