Best breakfast and lunch place in Santa Teresa.
Their coffee is the best one, smoothies and juices are excellent, all the food is made with fresh products.
The staff is very welcoming. Thanks for this experience i’ll be back soon !

Visited for a late breakfast in September. We had the turmeric milk which was absolutely delicious as well as avo toast and eggs Benedict. Portion size was big and dishes looked beautiful as well as made with fresh ingredients. Unfortunately they were both lacking a little herbs/spices and could had some avo/hemp/coconut etc oil on the bread and hummus to make it less dry. Staff was pleasant and helpful and toilet clean. However for 44€ I think I’ll make the effort at home next time…

The tuna bowl was amazing. I’m still dreaming about it
My husband said his bread for the avocado toast was too dry. So yeah maybe just go with the bowls if you visit this place
The cappuccino was okay.

Stopped by Kaukau for breakfast while visiting Santa Teresa. The service was not super friendly or welcoming – the barista who took our order didn’t smile once or even greet us with a hello, maybe he was having a bad day? The space is bright and has a good design intent and aesthetic. Drinks only took about 5 minutes but our food took 25 minutes to come out for it not being very busy (there were two other tables already eating, but no other patrons at the time) and tasted pretty good, but the salmon bagel was missing the capers, which was a bummer, and the breakfast croissant was on more of a hoagie bun than a croissant as we’re used to. I suspect the poke bowls are the way to go, as other reviews rave about them! It’s a cute spot, though, and brings a nicely designed space to Santa Teresa and would be worth another try!

I loved the tuna bowl!! So refreshing for a lunch, juices were sadly super diluted with water that they tasted like nothing (maybe they’ll improve that!!) other than that loved the place super cute and friendly spot

Kaukau is a fantastic breakfast spot! The food is delicious, with every dish full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is friendly and attentive. If you’re in the area, this is the place to go for a great start to your day!

Stayed for two weeks in Santa Teresa, I came to Kaukau on my first day and came back everyday. I tried almost everything on their menu and I have to say that the freshness and tastiness of the food is quite incredible. The staff is so friendly and the place is filled with good vibes!! Highly recommend

Went there many times during my stay in Santa Teresa. The poke bowls are crazy delicious. The breakfasts are really good too and probably the best speciality coffees in Santa Teresa (with Somos).
The owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Laptop friendly with good wifi and few power outlets inside.
Absolutely recommend !

I had the avocado toast and it was decent though the bread was quite dry, also the mocha was quite thin lacking taste. My wife’s tuna bowl was pretty good though.

This is one of the cutest cafes in Santa Teresa and the Hula Tuna bowl is one of the best poke bowls in my entire life. I grew up on the beach in California and I have had poke many times but the poke here is another level. So fresh and delicious and great service too!
